A regulated nervous system still gets angry.
A regulated nervous system still feels fear.
A regulated nervous system still feels rage.
A regulated nervous system still gets sad.
A regulated nervous is a biological state of safety.
A regulated nervous system is NOT a flatline of endless “calm”. It is the capacity to experience the full, vibrant, & sometimes messy spectrum of human emotions without getting permanently stuck in them.

So many black and brown people died on 9/11 and I’m glad their family and friends are able to share their stories via social media bc we fasho wasn’t seeing them on the news/ docs the first 15 years
Our corrupt government willingly let Israel commit an act of terror against our country. Rallying the American people to fight a pointless war in the Middle East against the wrong enemy. Never forget.
RIP to the 2,976 people that lost their lives on 9/11.
And RIP to the 3.7 million people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, and Pakistan who paid the ultimate price for a crime they did not commit.
Here’s something most Americans probably never heard about 9/11:
The Islamic Republic of Iran condemned the terrorist attacks and expressed its condolences to the American people and the families of the victims
Iranians also held a memorial for the victims
We were never your enemies!
On September 15, 2001, Balbir Singh Sodhi was planting flowers outside his Arizona gas station when Frank Roque pulled up and fatally shot him. Roque wanted revenge for 9/11 and mistook Sodhi, a Sikh man, for a Muslim because of his turban.
Sodhi became the first person killed in a post-9/11 retaliatory hate crime, marking the beginning of a devastating wave of violence against Muslims, Sikhs, Arabs, South Asians, and other brown Americans.
