@TheJoeySwoll I'm literally spending thousands of dollars because people don't respect communal spaces/etiquette anymore. Home Gym it is. It sucks, because I used to like the gym community before smartphones.
@Timcast Look into the land deals that happened post Covid. Big banks bought the land under most of the strip because the casinos couldn’t handle the shut down and the economic shock of travel restrictions and fear. Now the casinos on the land can’t afford to lower prices.
@LasVegasLocally Caviar on basic ass food is such is a practical exam for who is a sucker. I’m all about paying a lot for quality food prepared very well. But just throwing expensive topping on chicken sandwiches and hot dogs and charging 25x is not for me.
@JacobsVegasLife I would say the main reasons are both location based (shocking, I know). One, you are far from everything but also not far from anything. Airport, Strip, Kyle Canyon...all 30 min or less drive on roads that are normally low in traffic most times of day. Two, great schools.
@RateWork Because he’s doing the best to please his bosses and the fans. I highly doubt that dude intentionally makes bad decisions. Making executive decisions isn’t easy. That’s why they pay people a lot of money to do it.
@buzzleapedyear@arielhelwani Couldn’t agree more. They think month to month and quarter to quarter. Not product quality or long term customer retention.
@arielhelwani I agree. I’m totally ok with making a nice chunk of profit. But any company in any sector needs to balance customer experience and profit. If you just maximize everything form tickets/advertising… and the customers don’t see any changes in service level vs 10 yrs ago, no bueno.
@iwachanmiya@wrestlescripts I feel like it’s fairly obvious that living through the 90’s to today you can see the obvious culture shift in what advertisers think is acceptable.
@iwachanmiya@wrestlescripts In today’s climate, employing sex workers on a show geared to families will almost undoubtably cost the company money. It’s not about keeping their performers poor, it’s about not losing money themselves.
@LariMitaka well if unnamed sources on the internet starts rumors about a place you've never worked at...you should probably commit some time in your own life to process it and put a message out to the world.
