I wanna be clear, the Keenan Allen trade hurts emotionally. Dude is a home grown Cinderella story. 3rd round pick out of Cal drafted to the Chargers, snubbed on Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2013, consistently elevated his game to become a top 5 WR in the league for a substantial amount of time. He's the exact player you hope to hit on for a franchise. This sucks to see him go. However, this is collateral damage in pursuit of a Super Bowl. He's aging with a huge cap hit and the previous regime of Telesco/Staley gambled on a Super Bowl window that wasnt there. This is what recovery looks like for a dying franchise.
