France's nuclear arsenal has grown from 290 warheads in 2025 to 370 in 2026, an increase of 80 nuclear weapons in just one year, according to the latest SIPRI report.

As global powers continue to modernize and expand their arsenals, concerns over a renewed nuclear arms race are mounting.

President Zelenskyy has published an open letter to Putin. He suggested a personal meeting on a neutral territory to discuss ending the war, e.g. Switzerland, Turkey or Arabic Countries.

The President said that Ukraine is ready for a full ceasefire during negotiations, as well as an "all-for-all" prisoner's exchange.

Negotiations need to take place with the participation of Europe and the US as possible guarantors of peace agreements.

The letter states that Ukraine will continue fighting if the war goes on.
