I think the word good is jus too perfomative for we humans and the right word should be kind,cus no one is actually good in the absolure sense,or a saint immune to moral flaws
"Good" is performative. "Kind" is actual while good,tries to be a permanent identity. It's uhm rigid,static, absolute, and nobody lives up to it. The second you feel jealous, petty, or selfish, the whole "good person" story collapses. So people either lie, or they perform harder to keep the label.
Kind is different,you do kind,You may feel bitter about your friend's business and still choose to congratulate them. That's kind despite the feeling. That's real.
