A7: I do all I can to make my classroom feel welcoming. Lamps, color, inspiring quotes, and good smells. It sounds superficial, but creating a good feeling in my room is important. #WasatchEdChat
A2: I definitely think preparation is key, but so is professional development. I need to continue to learn new strategies to use in my classroom. #WasatchEdChat
A6: I focus on what goes on in my classroom. That’s what I enjoy and what makes me happy. All of the “extra” stuff can often feel daunting, but at the end of the day it’s all about the kids. #WasatchEdChat
A4: I make it a goal to get at least 7 hours each night, so when the clock strikes 9:30 lights out! And then I pray my kids don’t wake up in the night. 🙄 #WasatchEdChat
@heywood_erin Try it; it seriously has been a game changer for me with energy and not being tired. But it’s quite the adjustment. And I’m in bed by 9:30 on school nights!
A3: I wake up every morning at 4:28! If I don’t get it done in the morning, it won’t happen after school. Like @deEtteenglebright said that extra time in the morning gets me focused and energized for the day! More than an extra hour of sleep would. #WasatchEdChat
A2: Late to the game, but I’m here! To stay mentally well I do my best to stay on top of things. It’s when the grading piles up and my to-do list keeps building that I start to feel overwhelmed. #WasatchEdChat
