The political machine wants to take control away from the people by moving to an appointed school board. This is an outrageous, undemocratic attack on our community, and as Mayor I’ll put a stop to it and preserve our right to choose our own elected leaders. Our City, Our Choice!
@PatrickAmbrossi Teacher bashing isn’t going to get you elected in Ward D pal. Sorry the JCEA didn’t want you as a candidate these past few years. Educators in JC have wide ranging support across all communities in the city.
@MattFriedmanNJ@RajMukherji He is the water boy for Stack and McGreevey at this point. Scolding people for not kowtowing to him. Maybe show some leadership sometime. His staffer Younass sat on the BOE and was part of all the problems last year. There’s been zero leadership from Grove as well

The worst, possible thing that could happen to a school is it be run by a terrible administrator. Teachers leave, students hate school, parents are left feeling hopeless. Many schools fail because certain “leaders” simply cannot lead.
@amywilson The rogue members tabled everything—kids field trips, new hires for vacant classrooms, promotions, transfers, contract—except for the law firm at the center of the ethics complaint. They’re an embarrassment.
Pro tip for future revolving-door administrators: You know you're doing a great job hiding in your office when students have to ask their teachers, "Who is that guy?"
