These folks then got contacted by the complaint authors with a „pay to withdraw” type of offer.

@edzitron One doesn't have to exclude other. Claude is allegedly writing all the code at Anthropic so there's a good chance it messed up the A/B test implementation and spilled the beans too early. Either way, it does not look good.
