Today, on International Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners in Belarus, we stand with them, their families and friends, and all our partners courageously pushing for a free Belarus at great personal risk.

@CaitlynnPeetz14 It makes no sense that 11 schools that surpassed a 5 percent threshold for positive cases were approved to go virtual yesterday but 100+ more schools that reached and surpassed that same threshold today are not transitioning to virtual as well. Why the discrepancy? @MCPS
@CaitlynnPeetz14 Thank you for the update. These numbers will only go up if @MCPS does not go virtual for the next couple of weeks to prevent new contagions.

Together with @Kremlinologist1 I wrote about his disappearance for @pressfreedom 2009 report on unsolved journalists’ murders in Russia https://t.co/Gtoxcs0E0q
In June 2004 investigative journalist Maksim Maksimov went missing in St Petersburg. He had been investigating high level police corruption. Today, ECtHR found right to life breach by Russia
