Δε δεχόμαστε μαθήματα δημοκρατίας από όσους σκοτώνουν αμάχους.

Η Αθήνα, πρωτεύουσα μιας δημοκρατικής χώρας, σέβεται απόλυτα τους επισκέπτες της και υποστηρίζει το δικαίωμα της ελεύθερης έκφρασης των πολιτών της.

Ως δημοτική αρχή της πόλης έχουμε αποδείξει την ενεργή αντίθεση μας στη βία και τον ρατσισμό και δε δεχόμαστε μαθήματα δημοκρατίας, από όσους σκοτώνουν αμάχους και παιδιά στις ουρές των συσσιτίων, απ΄ όσους οδηγούν στον θάνατο καθημερινά δεκάδες ανθρώπους στη Γάζα, από βόμβες, πείνα και δίψα.

Προκαλεί αποτροπιασμό η επικέντρωση του κ. Πρέσβη μόνο στα γκραφίτι (που προφανώς σβήνονται), την ώρα που στη Γάζα διεξάγεται μια πρωτοφανής γενοκτονία.

Να πληροφορήσω επίσης τον κ. Πρέσβη ότι τον τελευταίο χρόνο αυξήθηκε πάνω από 90% ο αριθμός των Ισραηλινών στους οποίους χορηγήθηκε ελληνική Golden Visa.

They accuse Iran of what they do.

Iran shouts "death to [nation]," but the global empire gives nations death: Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza, etc.

Iran has anti-Semitic rhetoric (while Iran's Jews live safely), but the empire has anti-Islamic action (ask Afghan kids why they prefer grey skies).

Iran is accused of having 'second-class citizens'; meanwhile, Israel doesn't even give citizenship to the people it occupies.

Iran is called a 'warmonger' nation, but it has not launched an offensive war since the 18th century; meanwhile, America has never *not* been at war since then.

Iran flirts with the idea of a nuke as leverage; America has nuked two cities, and Israel has an undeclared stockpile of nukes.

Iran is accused of not letting women drive or study, when it was American allies that did such things.

Iran has abortions; meanwhile, American girls are forced to give birth after their fathers have violated them.

Iran is a country of 'religious radicals', but America was founded by Christian ISIS and is home to all fringe political weirdos of the 21st century (they are either founded here, or end up here).

Iran is a 'rogue state' but it constantly appeals to international law, the UN, etc, while America and Israel routinely flout those cherished post-WW2 institutions.

Iran is 'untrustworthy,' but it engages in negotiations in good faith while America uses them as a way to stall before bombing Iran.

Every accusation is an admission.
