@artchad We seem to have decided that“tech” is software or hardware run or managed by software. That’s only a small part (and the easy part) of tech. Making advanced materials, developing new energy generation, creating healthier food products from limited resources. That’s tech too.

@JJ_McCullough I think many of Canada’s original English-speaking settlers came from New England and the original majority settled culture of an area has a tendency to stick around. This attitude gibes directly with that as far as I can tell.
