Any recommendations on GCSE physics courses (how to approach the required practicals, ideas/tips to teach challenging concepts etc) for non specialists @ChatPhysics
Anyone willing to share some AQA GCSE/ A level lab logger templates ( happily take some KS3 ones). Using it for the first time ๐ @chatbiology@ChatChemistry@ChatPhysics
Immensely proud of my Year 13 pupils. You never sat exams for GCSE, sat some career altering ones in the summer, with no consideration by exam boards of the previous statement, and you have done yourselves and me proud. That's all. โค๏ธ
@KJF239@clare_ham@chatbiology We did immobilised enzymes. Tech mixed alginate and amylase. Really easy for kids to follow. Lasted 50 mins easily. Not a lot of faff.
We have also had lots of slides set up and pupils have done biological drawings after the cell expansion talk bit.
@Carousel_Learn is there a way for all staff to access the results/link for a quiz set? Not just appear on the list for the staff that set the task? Also, can you get a printable list of all quizzes completed with scores for an individual pupil? Like a mark book page?
Why are they so little... Omg shush...SLANT...yes standing is important in practicals... Look at that chromatogram...why can't year 10 be this enthusiastic about science.. just some thoughts on transition with year 6
Super defrosting hearts period 5. Still a bit crunchy but the kids had fun (seeing how strong and thick the heart muscle walls were). Have got a lingering bloody organ smell following me around though...
@sabrinasfm1 I wish they would make these places available for people over 25. Some of us never got these opportunities when we were younger bc we were in school full time and would love an opportunity to shadow at 40.
