>Get infected by a dark alien symbiote that acts exactly like demonic possession
>It gives you a temporary high of power but turns you arrogant, cruel, and isolated
>Realize the "suit" is actually a parasite consuming your soul and you can't rip it off on your own
>Go to the one place on earth that can save you: a Church
>Climb up into the belfry in absolute agony, trying to fight the darkness
>The massive church bells start to ring
>In Catholic tradition, church bells are literally anointed with sacred chrism oil by Bishops to drive out evil
>The consecration prayer literally says: "at the sound of these bells may the enemy always flee"
>The resounding frequency of the holy bells physically tortures the symbiote, forcing it to release its grip on Peter
>He rips the demon off his chest and is finally free
>Director disguises a literal Catholic teaching as the climax of a superhero blockbuster
