Beloved,
Nigeria is living through a tragedy that should shake every conscience.
Christians are being targeted, attacked, displaced, burnt and buried not because they stole or rebelled, but because they prayed.

This is no longer breaking news.
This is becoming heartbreaking routine.
And that is exactly what must never happen.

What began as isolated incidents has become a pattern.
What should have shocked a nation has become a statistic.
Attacks on Christian communities are no longer the exception.
They are becoming a cycle.

Villages wiped out overnight.
Churches turned to ashes.
Families slaughtered on Sunday morning.
Children orphaned because their parents refused to deny Christ.

This is not conflict.
This is not misunderstanding.
This is not random violence.

This is anti Christian persecution.

The Government

A government’s greatest duty is the protection of life.
When Christian communities send distress calls and help never arrives
When killers escape while victims are buried
When the numbers keep rising and urgency does not

The issue is not a lack of security capacity.
The issue is a lack of security will.

Christians are not asking for privilege.
Christians are not asking for favours.

Christians are asking for protection, which is the most basic duty of government.

A nation that cannot defend its believers cannot pretend to be safe.

The Sponsors

This violence does not survive on zeal alone.
It survives on money, weapons, ideology and political cover.

The sponsor may not pull the trigger
but the blood still touches their hands.

You cannot preach peace by day
and supply bullets by night.

Anyone who finances murder shares in murder.

The Media

Words can heal or wound.
Narratives can protect or destroy.

When Christian victims are renamed as locals
When massacres are labeled clashes
When church attacks are called tensions

journalism stops reporting and starts hiding.

Silence is not neutrality.
Silence is permission.

A country cannot heal when truth is reshaped to protect the powerful.

The Terrorists

You do not understand Christianity.
You think fire will stop the gospel.
You think bullets will silence worship.
You think fear will kill the Church.

You are wrong every single time.

Christianity has survived the Roman Empire
The Inquisition
The gulags
The concentration camps
The firing squad and the prison cell.

You are not the first to attack the Church
and you will not be the last
but the outcome has never changed and it never will.

The Church does not die under persecution
The Church multiplies under persecution.

What you call destruction
heaven calls testimony.

You are not weakening us
you are strengthening us.

The Victims

To the widows, the grieving parents and the children who lost everything
please hear this with your heart:

You did not lose your loved ones because you were weak.
You lost them because they refused to betray their faith.

They did not die in fear
they died in courage
they died in loyalty
they died in honour.

Their names are not forgotten in heaven
and their blood is not ignored on earth.

God counts every tear.
Heaven honours every sacrifice.
Eternity welcomes every martyr.

And you who survive are not abandoned.
You are carried.
You are defended.
You are surrounded by the love of the Body of Christ.
Your future is not ruined.
Your hope is not gone.
Your story is not finished.

God will rebuild you.
God will restore you.
God will comfort you in a way the world cannot.

You are not just victims
you are precious
you are honoured
you are heroes of faith living among us.

The Church

This is not the time for silence in the name of caution.
This is not the time for gentleness in the name of diplomacy.
This is not the time for retreat when the body of Christ is bleeding.

We do not answer evil with evil.
We do not answer hate with hate.

You can’t actually fault Pastors for praying and raising prayers about insecurity. What do you expect them to do?

They are operating in the code of their office as Priests. Ultimately, it’s the President and the politicians that are responsible for the security of lives and property.

It’s however perfectly ok to fault pastors that only advocate for prayers without actions. You keep praying and praying, but not sensitive to support your prayers with actions.

You are praying for terrorism to end; while it is obvious your current government are incapacitated, as it has been for years in handling the ugly crisis, you are the same person attacking the very potential source of help by another capable country.

How do you expect your prayers to be answered?

WE ARE FINISHED

Terrorists did not just cross a boundary. They marched straight into the heart of our national security architecture and spat in its face. And the most frightening part is the silence that followed.

A serving General of the Nigerian Army was ambushed with his men. A whole General. Not a recruit. Not a private. A General. The kind of man entire formations salute. The kind of man whose presence alone carries the weight of decades of war experience. The kind of man terrorists should never even dream of touching.

Yet they attacked him.

They captured him.

They killed him.

And they did it with confidence, with coordination, with weapons so sophisticated that you have to ask yourself who is arming these demons and why they are operating with such precision. These are not ragtag criminals anymore. These are well equipped insurgents who now believe they can take on the Nigerian state and win.

And what do we get in response?

Silence.

Denials.

Cold statements as if a General falling in the hands of terrorists is some minor roadside accident.

Where is the rage
Where is the aerial bombardment
Where is the decisive, unforgiving response that should shake the entire forest they crawled out from

Instead, we have a government that will eventually parade these same terrorists as repentant. They will call them rehabilitated. They will reintegrate them into society. Some will even end up wearing the same uniform as the men they butchered. The sheer insult of it should make every Nigerian sick.

Our gallant soldiers are paying the supreme price for a system that refuses to protect them. Men who swore to defend this country with their lives are being slaughtered because leadership refuses to match terrorists fire for fire. Troops are dying deaths they should never die. Ambushed by terrorists who are growing bolder, smarter, and deadlier every passing day.

And nobody is shouting.

Nobody is shaking the table.

Nobody is calling this what it is: a catastrophic national security failure.

A General was killed. A General. If terrorists can capture and kill a General, then every civilian is a sitting target. Every highway is a death trap. Every village is vulnerable. Every soldier in the field is fighting with the knowledge that if the worst happens, the state will issue a press release and move on.

This is beyond unacceptable. This is outrageous. This is infuriating.

Nigeria cannot continue like this. The government must understand the gravity of this moment. The military must respond with unrestrained force. Because if terrorists are allowed to celebrate this victory, they will see themselves not as fugitives but as an army.

And once terrorists begin to believe they are an army, the nation is already in deep trouble.

Enough is enough.

This is the loudest warning Nigeria will get.
