It is great to be a politician in India today! You are not expected to walk the talk at all, and you can STILL play politics!

I was born in a general category family. Not rich. Not influential. Just a simple middle class home where every decision is about managing expenses and surviving another month.

From childhood we were told one thing. Study hard. That’s your only way up.

So we did.

Late nights. Extra classes. Parents cutting down their own needs to pay coaching fees. Education loans before we even earn our first salary.

And every year, reservation keeps increasing. New proposals. New bills. More seats divided. More relaxations added.

For us, it feels like the space keeps shrinking.

The cut offs rise. The competition gets tighter. The pressure becomes suffocating. One mistake and you are out.

People assume general category means privilege. But many of us come from families with no land, no business, no backup. Just salaried parents or daily struggles. Still, we are expected to compete at the highest bar with zero support.

When reservation keeps expanding year after year, it does not just change numbers on paper. It changes the psychology of an entire generation.

It creates fear.

Fear that merit alone may not be enough.
Fear that opportunities are narrowing.
Fear that no one is listening.

This is not about taking anything away from anyone. It is about asking a simple question.

Should opportunity be decided only by category forever?

If help is needed, give it based on real economic hardship. Support those who genuinely struggle. But do not ignore thousands who are also fighting silently just because of a label.

We are not asking for sympathy.
We are not asking for special treatment.

We are asking for balance.
We are asking for fairness.
We are asking to be seen.

If seats are already reserved for SC/ST/OBC, what’s the logic behind lowering the cut-off?

Keep one merit standard.
If a reserved candidate clears it, they take the open/reserved seat. Fair.

If after 3 rounds seats remain vacant, convert them to open category or leave them unfilled.

But lowering the bar and calling it equality?
That defeats the whole idea of merit.

Reservation should ensure representation, not dilute standards.

The paradox of modern humanity:

My #samsung side/side refrigerator has stopped cooling/freezing. I complained nearly a month back. Technician came and did some cleaning. Problem persists. He said condenser gone, needs replacement, its been two weeks, fridge is becoming junk, all stored stuff wasted.

But now, even in villages, almost every other family has cancer patient.

Food adulteration & chemical-injected veggies are main reason.

To all who read this. First it starts as tiredness, followed by restlessness, sweating and nausea. Then the pain starts in chest a little to the left of the center and spreads to the back left lower shoulder blade. Total time between start to this point is roughly an hour to hour and half. If you reach a hospital in this time you live. I know about it because I had it and have survived. Please tell the hospital that the patient is having a heart attack and tell them to administer first aid. They may dismiss it as gas issues. Several deaths could have been avoided if the symptoms were not ignored or dismissed as normal.

In 2018, a Lion Air flight, a Boeing Aircraft as usual plagued by troubles, plummeted into the Java Sea, resulting in the tragic loss of all 189 passengers and crew onboard. The captain at the helm was an Indian.

The Boeing PR lobby, employing its own officials, YouTubers, “experts,” and media outlets, swiftly blamed the captain for the incident.

The India-hating racists around Asia and the world, indoctrinated by a China & Pak operation on a daily basis to harbor animosity towards India, joined the chorus on social media, blaming Indian pilots and training.

Even so-called mainstream “journalists” on DS payroll provided television time to so-called “experts” or propagandists who perpetuated the same narrative, attributing the crash to pilot error. They made it look like it was the truth.

A few days later, the flight data recorder was recovered from the sea. An investigation conducted by US authorities revealed that the MCAS system of the flight was malfunctioning.

The plane did not crash due to pilot or captain error.

The news of this investigation result, which emerged quite some time after the crash, received limited coverage in the media. The investigation’s findings were largely ignored by SM and media.

However, the anti-India cabal persisted in portraying the incident as “Indian software" causing the crash using SM account farms and influencers.

While it is true that Boeing develops software in India, it does not mean that such critical software is simply shipped into planes without extensive testing and clearance from American engineers at Boeing in the US.

My point is, this is how they all operate against India, even for a foreign airline flight involving a foreign-made aircraft going down given the chance.

Indians who are swayed by such operations on SM/M should be cautious. They should not be naive enough to fall for these narratives and parrot the lines that demean our own pilots, engineers, and country.
