Today’s Republican primary is about more than just a congressional seat… it also reflects a strong signal on how much power AIPAC has over US politicians.
A win for Massie would be a very clear indication of AIPAC’s waning influence, while a defeat would indicate that they still retain some measure of influence.
With the president attacking Massie directly on x, do you think he has a chance to win?
Market went up too fast... now he's emboldened.
A 5-10% drop is when he'll back down... The Iranians know this and the smart money has picked up on this...
This is because there are plenty of jobs that require a Bachelors degree... regardless of field of study.
They logic is... if your disciplined enough to get a Bachelors, your probably a better candidate than someone who doesnt have one.
Saw this first hand in the Military. To be an Officer you need a Bachelors degree regardless of time in service.
Plenty of great NCO's I served with had plenty of experience leading troops but didn't have a degree required for commissioning.
Saw the same in the workplace aswell. Plenty of folks had years of experience but lacked the degree required for a managerial role. I have seen some pushback on this though...
People are slowly realizing that just because someone has a piece of paper saying they went to college for 4 years, doesnt mean they are automatically more qualified than someone who might have more experience working in the respective field. This is especially true when the degree is not even in their respective field.
The pushback on Saas dying by Andreessen Horowitz is worth a read.
The post @PaperGainsInc made analogizing retail stores to Costco is spot on.
Jevons Paradox isnt just useful to justify Hardware spend on AI but also Software spend on AI.
Bond yields are rising globally as Oil prices remain high from Strait of Hormuz closure...
I would expect that Trump and his admins sole focus now that the China Trip is over to be on re-opening the Strait and getting oil prices to come down before the start of the summerdriving
Mexico is a field test for the ultimate prize...
62M Latinos in the US of which 80% are either 1st or 2nd Gen that still have ties to Latin America.
Many of these people have been traditionally underserved but are slowly becoming more embedded in the US economy.
On top of that, theyve already sent $NU co-founder Cristina Junqueria to Miami to get the ball rolling.
I have a private goal in mind for the next few years...
I want to buy a Townhouse in the middle of Manhattan and live their part time so I can hang out with my friends @amitisinvesting@stevenfiorillo@RealMattMoney.
Maybe we can pool some capital together and buy a place that has a studio on the ground level and invite guests.
NYC's First retail investor Financial Podcast studio.
What are your thoughts?
For $NU people have to look beyond 2026, which management has declared as an investment year.
2027 is likely the year where youll see alot more growth catalysts that should help the stock get backt o ATH.
The key isnt meeting 1 quarters guidance, its hitting Long term goals.
Today, I spent most of the my day listening to $FISV investor day and couldnt help notice just how much efficiency gains are being projected thanks to the implementation of agents in assisting customers as well as speeding up the development of new offerings.
$FISV is working with $NOW and $NVDA to develop agents that can help clients aswell as businesses themselves become more efficient and profitable.
Software isnt dead... its just helping those already embedded their respective niches become even more entrenched.
I own all 3... $NVDA $NOW and $FISV.
The future looks bright.
