🛑🇧🇫- Here is the total number of equipment handout to the farmers.

I saw some dumbasses quote my previous post to say that this equipment is not worth 104 billion CFA ($179M), and that Captain and his cronies have embezzled the funds. Very laughable.

First of all, I didn’t have to respond to dumbass detractors. But for the sake of credibility, I will give you all the details.

Second, even if they chopped all the money, it’s none of your business you fools. As far as I am concerned, Captain has the approval of most Burkinabè, except a few stateless and sellouts.

Anyway, here’s what the official report from the presidency’s website, confirming what was announced today in Bobo Dioulasso:

“Costing more than 104 billion CFA francs ($179M), the inputs and equipment made available to producers for the 2025-2026 season are part of the implementation of the Operational Plan for Food Sovereignty and the Creation of Decent Jobs in the Agropastoral Sector, called the “Agro-pastoral and Fisheries Offensive 2023-2025,” and the Presidential Initiative for Agricultural Production and Food Self-sufficiency.

These include, among others,

1. 1033 motorcycles for field agents,

2. 485 motor pumps,

3. 1102 motor cultivators,

4. 17 trucks,

5. 2 drilling workshops,

6. 4 combine harvesters,

7. 935 floating cages,

8. 36 vehicles,

9. 608 tractors,

10. 150 crushers,

11. 10 processing units,

12. 31,851.5 tonnes of phytosanitary products,

13. 66,952,895 doses of veterinary drugs,

14. 15,000 tonnes of plant seeds,

15. 70,000 tonnes of mineral fertilizers,

16. 14,631 tonnes of organic manure,

17. 1,580 tonnes of fish feed,

18. 11,169 tonnes of livestock feed.”

According to Minister of State, Commander Ismaël SOMBIE, this rural infrastructure effort has been supported by the development of more than 2,000 hectares of irrigated areas.

The focus is on the structural transformation of agriculture and livestock farming with a view to achieving food sovereignty.

Here’s what Minister SOMBIE told @CapitaineIb226 after he symbolically handed him the keys to,

“Comrade President, we are committed to working alongside the rural world to implement your vision in accordance with your instructions... This is a great source of satisfaction but also an invitation to redouble our efforts and work towards your vision, which is to achieve food self-sufficiency in the very near future.”
