@LakotaMan1 My great grandfather was afraid to speak about his native heritage and today we have no record of his history or who is people were. It hurts my heart to have part of my own history missing. Education is the first step to recovring what our ancestors had to stay quiet on.

@Calitexabamian Houston is a much newer city. Houston came into itself with oil and would not exist without air conditioning. It's grown is not during the old south, but rather the modern era. It doesn't have as much of a "confederacy" history because no one wants to live there without AC!
