I got invite for event on 30th July.

I have invites for both cursor and sarvam event

Both happening on 30th July
One's in hyd & one in BLR

- Should I travel to BLR just to attend sarvam event, is it going to be worth it??

Round trip costs somewhere around 4k to attend sarvam event 🤧

I'm inclined more towards cursor event as it's in hyderabad 😌

Never ever attended an interview by TCS 😭😭

- I had interview scheduled for senior Ai/ml engineer role 🤧
- They summoned 400+ people in such a small room for various roles
- More than 50% of people were said to go back if they didn't match the experience required even if it's less than a month.

Waited 3+ hrs lost interest returned back home 😌
Issue is they should first never call people for interviews that don't match their requirement.
And they should organise at different blocks for different roles & what's the benefit of even having such big campus in the city

yesterday while talking about deploying AI agents from Prototype to Production, @sassysanket spoke one line that has been stuck in my head - ‘nobody compliments infrastructure, silence is your standing ovation’

the more I build developer tools and infrastructure, the more I relate to this.

when you're working on SDKs, distributed systems, release pipelines, or anything that's meant to "just work," success is almost invisible.
if people can silently use your product without thinking about the infrastructure behind it, you've probably done your job well.

feedback : wasn't good at system design

Even though I answered it 90% correct. As expected he was more focused on system design. Which i wasn't prepared for.

Now I have no choice to take System Design Seriously🙃

Just had an interview after a long time 🫠

Role : Senior AI/ML Engineer
Questions:
- Intro
- what's the last GenAI project you have worked on?
- explain it architecture
- explain the retrieval pipeline you have worked on
- evaluation metrics for rag
- coding question in python
- system design on designing ai interview platform that conducts interviews.

It was kind of focused more on system design aspects that actual concepts 🙂

I have to focus on system design & explaining answers clear & short.
he stopped me 2-3 times while answering, either my answers are too long or I might have not answered what he was expecting
looks like I wont be moved forward for next round 🫠
