Real value is determined by audience.
Audience is the king.
I can talk about hierarchy, contrast, curiosity gaps all day.
None of it means anything until it's put in front of real people.
This is what that actually looks like.
Use the same format, 10 days later: 100K+ views.
The video is now in the channel's all-time Top 10.
A thumbnail I made a year ago got 24K views.
I revisited the same concept for new video.
Here's what this taught me about thumbnail strategy:
Don't abandon what works. Double down on it.
When I created the Pixel 9A thumbnail, the format worked.
Instead of chasing a completely new concept for Pixel 10A, I went back to what had already proven itself.
Same underlying format. New video. Stronger result.
This is how I approach YouTube packaging:
β Study what's already working.
β Identify the elements worth repeating.
β Adapt the concept to the new video.
β Let performance guide the next iteration.
Great thumbnail strategy isn't about reinventing the wheel every time.
It's about recognizing winning patterns and knowing how to use them again.
@cest_varun Theyβve integrated multiple image-generation models, so I donβt think quality is an issue, (at least not for me)
I've unlimited gen plan and i'm 100% sure it is worth it for me.
