Reservation Hatao Andolan (RHA) is now RHA Reforms Andolan.

I think this is a good step, they realised that they will be just wasting their energy. This is a more pragmatic approach.

As someone who supports #reservation unequivocally, I think some reforms can definitely make it better like introduction of OBC subcategorisation etc.

ये वो नारा है जो साफ संदेश देता है – जो करना है वो कर डालो, वरना मरने के लिए तैयार रहो।

महात्मा गांधी का यह नारा आज सवर्ण समाज को भली-भांति अंगीकार करना चाहिए।

SC/ST एक्ट का दुरुपयोग अब चरम पर पहुंच चुका है। हर 10 केस में से 8 झूठे मामले देखकर इसकी सच्चाई समझ आ जाती है। आज ओबीसी हो या सवर्ण – दोनों इसके भुक्तभोगी हैं।

कहने को संविधान सबको समानता का अधिकार देता है, लेकिन दूसरी तरफ ऐसे कानून बनाकर एकतरफा दूसरे समाजों का शोषण भी सरेआम हो रहा है।

अजीत भारती पर हुआ SC/ST एक्ट का केस फिर से उसी झूठे शोषण की मानसिकता को उजागर करता है। अजीत भारती ने सिर्फ उस व्यक्ति को जवाब दिया था जो कमेंट करके उनकी बहन की शादी चंद्रशेखर रावण से कर देने की बात कह रहा था। लेकिन क्लिप काटकर उसे समाज-विशेष को गाली देने वाला बना दिया गया और केस ठोक दिया गया।

यही है असली चेहरा इस कानून के दुरुपयोग का।

It's time for judicial review of the amendments made in 2018 to SC/ST Atrocities Act which removed the safeguards laid down by the Supreme Court to check its rampant misuse.The Amendments have made it worse. Every affected party must prefer a constitutional challenge to the Act.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बार-बार यह स्पष्ट किया है कि SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act की धारा 3(1)(r) और 3(1)(s) के तहत जातिसूचक गाली/अपमान तभी अपराध बनता है जब वह “within public view” (सार्वजनिक दृष्टि/सुनवाई के दायरे में) हो।

बंद कमरे, निजी घर की चारदीवारी या ऐसी जगह जहां आम लोग मौजूद न हों और घटना को देख/सुन न सकें, वहां की गई जातिसूचक टिप्पणी को इस कानून के तहत अपराध नहीं माना जाता।

We have figured out the govt is 'match fixing' with certain groups who were "allowed to protest;" they did not face FIRs when they beat up Delhi Police, two Union Ministers went on thier knees and made this group a star & then the same group members were "conveniently attacked" in Rajasthan on the very day GC students & youngsters were protesting at Jantar Mantar Delhi to divert attention from the RHA andolan.

Those who did violence againt our cops faced no charges, but Ajeet Bharati has an FIR!

लेकिन पिछले एक साल से हज़ारो प्रयास के बाद भी मेरे साथ शोषण करने वाले सांसद पर FIR क्यों नहीं की ?
