@HartRollins All of the students that I work with are in-person, so it has not been too tricky during the time of COVID. However, the first 2 weeks when we were virtual, the hardest part was probably not knowing if the student would sign in or not, chances were that usually they did not

@HartRollins I would definitely say that they were interesting. I definitely liked the idea of doing them, but doing it during the week was a little weird and awkward with it being live. Personally, I feel like it would have been easier to do on the weekend. #SPED6709

@HartRollins I would tell them not to stress. This is one of the first courses recommended for someone to take in my degree program and honestly, as long as I kept up with my work, I was not stressed at all. It was very easy to balance a full time job and taking online courses. #SPED6709

@HartRollins I think the highlight on my semester does not pertain to one course, but to all of them. I learned a lot this semester when it came to special education and everything about it. I am truly thankful to have all of this knowledge now. #SPED6709

@HartRollins the day, week, etc. and then work to show them tricks and tips to make sure that they get their work done and do not fall behind but still have time for breaks and fun. #SPED6709

@HartRollins I think mine would be time management and organization of my time management. I create a planner with all of my due dates of work and make sure that I plan time in order to get my work done. I could teach this in my classroom by talking to my students about what we have to do for

@HartRollins skills. Also, if these skills were introduced younger, it would not be as stressful or too much put on the child at one time to learn in such a short amount of time. #SPED6709

@HartRollins I believe that a good time to start transition services may be in middle school. When you get to middle school, many people start going out with their friends and having a life a little separate from their parents. This would be a good time to start introducing all of these

@HartRollins I am not the lead teacher in a classroom, so I am unsure as to what would be the hardest area to teach/incorporate. I would have to wait to see when I get into a classroom and get classroom dynamics figured out. #SPED6709

@CallieNorrell @HartRollins I also feel like this could somewhat lead into the other areas as well. If there learned how to do things for themselves and be self-sufficient, it might aid in helping them succeed in employment or post-secondary education.

@HartRollins I believe the ind. living would be the most beneficial because it should be a goal for the child to live ind. Other areas could still be focused on and worked on after school, but having a strong foundation young on how to take care of yourself would be beneficial. #SPED6709

@HartRollins My favorite way to relax is watching tv with my animals. All I have to do is lay on the couch with a blanket and all of my cats comes out of the woodwork.
