Dear God,
As I begin this new year of coaching, please help me to never forget the power of the platform you have blessed me with, help me to build champions both on (AND OFF), the field, & most importantly, help me to lead by example in ALL I do!
Love,
Coach
Any support that you could provide to my students would be greatly appreciated. I teach juniors and seniors in high school. I am a special education teacher. I strive to give my students what they deserve.

The only ones who will ever care (or remember), that you stayed late in the office, to break down film, or prepare for an upcoming opponent, is your family!
As a teacher, you should never want a student leaving class feeling defeated or deflated. As an admin, you should never want a teacher leaving school feeling defeated or deflated. Be compassionate, available, supportive, and encouraging.
If you remember one thing about your students this year, it is they all have the potential to be amazing. And maybe that is why they will be in your class this year!
Admin, when you drop in the class for a visit, maybe check to see if the teacher needs anything, like running to restroom, or bring them a water/ coffee. The little things are the big things in the daily grind!
We need more of this mentality. Football should not be this so called GRIND. There is so much more to us & our players lives. Build positive relationships, show them what a man looks like: good husband, father, brother...Check out Lyn Smith's video! #TikTok https://t.co/DJTNXhK53d
Go to your kids’ games. Bring your kids to work sometimes. Go to parent-teacher conferences. Prioritize time to be with your children. If your job doesn’t allow for you to be an active parent then you are doing it wrong. Your kids need you more than work does.
