👏🎓Celebrating @jadokeza’s Master’s achievement. His journey reminds us that being a #refugee does not define one’s future. Having supported him in secondary school and facilitated his EUI internship in #Italy, @maison_shalom is proud of this milestone.
He walked into an expensive mall wearing what looked like poor, torn, dirty clothes.
He quietly started filming videos with people ...and people literally started running away.
Then he walked out. Got into an EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE LUXURY CAR and drove away. 🚗💰
And then came plot twist...
Those torn clothes weren't cheap at all. They were actually balancia fashion piece worth 10k dollars.
And he is the owner of that Mall.

In Burundi 🇧🇮, groups of men supply bananas from villages to towns by bike at 70 km/h while carrying 200 kg. Imagine them representing Burundi in cycling.
Barack Obama was the President of the United States.
He came to Kenya with power, influence and plenty of resources behind him.
Yet he was humble.
He spoke to Kenyans with respect.
He did not come here behaving as though being American made him superior to Kenyans.
He understood one simple thing: you can be powerful without being arrogant.
Then there is Aliko Dangote, a Nigerian billionaire, in Nairobi addressing Kenyans with a tone that suggests he has forgotten which country he is standing in.
Nigeria is not some flawless first world paradise lecturing Kenya from the moral high ground. It has battled Boko Haram and other terrorist groups, severe insecurity, corruption and serious governance challenges.
Yet here we are, listening to a businessman from Nigeria talking to Kenyans as though Kenya is some backward outpost that should bow before his billions.
No.
Your money does not make you Kenyan.
Your factories do not make you president.
Your billions do not give you sovereignty over this country.
Kenya welcomes investment. We welcome Nigerians. We welcome business.
But we do not surrender our dignity at the airport together with the investor's luggage.
Obama had the power of the American presidency behind him and still understood humility.
Dangote has billions behind him and seems to have discovered arrogance.
Money can buy factories. It cannot buy the right to disrespect Kenyans.
Know the difference between doing business in Kenya and owning Kenya.
A crocodile swallowed a baby, and these brave men refused to let it get away. They hunted it down and confronted the beast until they recovered the baby.
Sad News in Nansana, a land lord locked all his tenants in the house and burnt them to death, and he also burnt himself due to pressure from bank loans..
Eye witness says that even the tenants were not paying him rent😳
This is Eric Otieno from Kitengela. He had come back from the USA to visit his family in Kitengela.
Last week, on 18th September, he and his friends were leaving a party and heading home when they ran into some police officers who appeared to be broke. As often happens with police at night, they arrest people without any real offense just so they can get money for drinking.
His two friends were handcuffed. Eric himself was not. They were taken to the station, and he texted his wife that he had been arrested for no reason.
While they were in the cell, Eric started feeling unwell. The people with him tried to alert the officers on duty, but the officers ignored them the way they often ignore such calls. Eric’s condition got worse until he died.
The postmortem said he had underlying health conditions. IPOA is now investigating whether there was negligence.
Eric died in a cell at Kitengela Police Station. This is deeply sad.
He leaves behind a wife and two children. Rest well, Eric.
He was accused of raping a girl in his hood.
He said he was innocent. The neighbours and women around him said he wasn't innocent and that he should be taken off from the hood. He was later arrested by their local police.
Two days after, the girl confessed that he didn't rape her
Eventually he was released.
After reaching home, he was angry with his parents why they couldn't stand by him and defend him. He threatened to commit suicide since he was worthless to them.
In the process of trying to hang himself, the women in the community and children were laughing at him thinking it's one of his games when he's usually high on drugs.
His own parent didn't even try to stop him, they wrote him off.
He eventually took poison
“I'm never marrying, and it's actually because of The Divorce pandemic that's happening. Everybody that I know that was doing well went broke because of Divorce.”🙆💔

We are not expensive people and maintaining us is not expensive. Me, my daughters, and my family we are very down-to-earth. I have lived in my house for 36 years. We don’t have any needs. There is nothing I haven’t seen. What I want to leave as a legacy is the industrialization of Africa.
- Aliko Dangote
“It’s not my priority to have a male child” — Billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote.
He added, “You might pray for a son, and that son will be the one to bring the family down. God controls everything, and if God doesn’t give you something, don’t push it. And I don’t think a son would have done better than the three daughters I have.”
Today, a Rwandan trader in Mwiki was robbed of his bucket of mandazi, two thermos flasks of black coffee, and the money he had made selling to honest people.
The thieves were chang’aa addicts who thought they had found an easy target.
Unfortunately for them, they found the wrong neighbourhood.
I responded immediately from Maji Mazuri. One robber left the encounter with fewer teeth than he arrived with; another went home with a head injury. Meanwhile, we raised KSh 3,500 for our fellow African trader to help him get back on his feet.
Let me be very clear: we are not going to stand by while criminals prey on hardworking Africans trying to survive.
A man wakes up, makes mandazi and coffee, carries his little business on his back and comes to Kenya to earn an honest living. The least we can give him is security and dignity.
To the mugukaa, miraa, & chang’aa gang: mandazi is not your inheritance, coffee is not your birthright, and Mwiki is not a free-for-all buffet.
We are Africans before we are anything else.
We welcome our brothers and sisters from across this continent, and we will defend their right to work peacefully.
Kenya must never become another South Africa where fellow Africans are attacked simply because they crossed a border looking for a better life.
We can be tough on criminals without becoming cruel to foreigners.
Leave hardworking traders alone.
Let them hustle.
Let them eat.
Let them go home safely.

The decent and normal Africans of Kenya are standing up to Ruto's thugs, and saying we Kenyans are not like others, we are different, we do not have a dark heart, we do not see our African families as competitors , enemies or rivals, we see them as allies in a common struggle.
We do not believe in killing and harassing innocent Africans, under the false narrative that they are taking our jobs.
Kenyans are opening their eyes to the divisive ploy of Ruto and his masters , to win a second term. It is falling apart like a deck of cards.
Bad things are happening in Kenya, but the difference with other places is that good people are rising up against the evil in their midst and not staying silence. Kenyans rightly believe that silence is complacency.
