Congestion isn’t just a transportation problem, it’s a societal burden.

Putting AVs on the same crowded roads doesn’t solve it. With limited real estate, more vehicles simply deepen the gridlock.

Real change comes when autonomy is paired with its own infrastructure.

👀 What is Glydways?

We've redefined mass transit through autonomous electric vehicles that run on dedicated guideways to deliver on-demand, nonstop, affordable trips for everyone.

Cities don’t have a traffic problem; they have a capacity problem. That means that putting more vehicles, even autonomous ones, on the same congested roads only makes gridlock worse.

Glydways does things differently by adding net new capacity. A two-meter lane can move 10,000 people per hour, offering rail-level throughput at bus-level cost, without subsidies.

More capacity means less congestion. That’s how cities move again.

The Orlando Transportation 2030 report projects the Orlando region will reach 5.2 million residents by 2030, adding nearly 600,000 more cars to already crowded roads.

To keep people moving, the region needs better options. Adding more lanes and more cars is not the solution. Glydways is.

At the 2025 Florida Automated Vehicles (FAV) Summit, we shared how our personal, on-demand rides on dedicated guideways can take trips off congested roads and keep the region moving.
