@abhijeet_dipke If you listen to all the press conferences held by the Opposition Ecosystem today, you'll realise just how desperate they are to burn this country to ashes simply because they can't win it electorally.
Bloody traitors....
This dwarf cockroach first came out with “School Theek Karo,” then saw the condition of his Pappu and the opposition in the Student Elections—Gen Z itself pushed them out of the electoral field, where there was neither SIR nor the Election Commission. 😂 They even got a taste of defeat in the Rajasthan municipal elections. And now this dwarf wants to “fix” the Election Commission. 😂
The public has already understood their intentions to create unrest—now the people will respond, and this time the tables are going to turn hard.
@abhijeet_dipke You CJPee bastards will only demand resignation from leaders and officials from BJP. You pussies don't have the balls to ask the same from your master Kejruddin's pAAP or Khangress or any other opposition party. You clowns will save democracy. Fuck off!
@Ethnic_Bantu@VaibhavSet50674@Nguchezkennedy@real_mukesh5@elonmusk Someone from a literal third world shit hole like Uganda calling India a poor country. 😄😄Majority of African population rides Indian vehicles across Africa and lives on aides from other countries including India. So be thankful.
Genuine Question:
Why is this treasonous uncle of Gangster Mukhtar Ansari,
#HamidAnsari
Who sold the names of undercover RAW operatives to our enemies
Still free ?
&
Obviously this shameless radical has the same opinions as a #Terrorist !!
😡😡😡
The headline is agenda-driven. Your complaint should have been that they used the marriage as an ideological weapon. Instead you opened with the feminist script.
There is no functioning patriarchy here. Outlets like Scroll already operate inside a feminine primary order. They do not introduce a woman as someone’s wife because they secretly worship male authority. They do it when the association has ideological utility. In this case, the useful association is a politically inconvenient husband tied to The Kashmir Files. Had the husband been their approved kind of man, the same outlet would have led with her awards and filmography. Feminism is always selective. That is not a bug. It is the operating system and Scroll is fluent in it. There is no patriarchy at work here.
Identifying a woman through her husband is not an insult to her agency. Treating her as a wife is not uniquely diminishing, and four time National Award winner is not the only legitimate identity. Awards matter. The husband also matters. So agree with your suggested headline. That version does not moralize. It does not pretend the marriage is irrelevant. But disappointing that you fell for feminist catechism to defend it.
Dear @scroll_in@tajmahalfoxtrot and @sharmasupriya, what kind of third-rate, malicious and deeply misogynistic journalism is this?
Pallavi Joshi is a four National Award-winning actor. She started acting at the age of four. She had already become one of India’s most recognised television stars at a time when many of the journalists writing this story weren’t even born.
I didn’t even know the P of production when Pallavi produced Arohan, a landmark work centred on women in the Indian Navy. She has produced and created more meaningful work than your collective reports ever will.
And yet, when you write about an accomplished, self-made woman, you choose to introduce her primarily as “the wife of filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.”
Why?
Because apparently a woman’s own achievements are still not enough to establish her identity.
This is precisely how patriarchy works. Reduce a woman with decades of independent achievement to the man she happens to be married to.
Pallavi Joshi did not borrow her identity from anyone. She built it herself through four decades of acting, producing, television, cinema and an extraordinary body of work. She has never needed to compromise with mediocrity, fashion herself around a powerful surname, or seek validation through a husband.
If you cannot acknowledge an accomplished independent woman on her own terms and instead feel compelled to define her through her husband, then perhaps the problem isn’t Pallavi Joshi. Perhaps it is your own deeply patriarchal lens.
And @sharmasupriya, as someone who otherwise positions herself as a feminist, I am genuinely surprised that you would encourage, defend or allow such a headline merely for a few additional views. Feminism cannot be selective. It has to apply even when the woman in question is inconvenient to your narrative.
Here is what the headline could have said:
“Pallavi Joshi, four-time National Award-winning actor who played Kasturba in Shyam Benegal’s The Making of the Mahatma, revolutionised Indian television with some of its most successful shows, delivered a memorable antagonist in #TheKashmirFiles, championed human rights, produced meaningful cinema, and is a mother of two, also married to filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.”
See the difference?
One headline tells you who she is.
The other tells you whose wife she is.
That difference is not journalism. It is patriarchy masquerading as journalism.
This is a social media run by an outsourced poster for $5 a day. "Tilly Norwood" doesn't exist and the technology is based on generative A.I. which is not capable of awareness, discernment, or even basic comprehension.
"A.I. actors" don't exist. Just a backhanded attempt at removing living actors to convince decision makers that it's cheaper. #generativeAI #aigenerated #artificialintelligence
Dr Doolla is an acclaimed professor of Energy Sciences at IIT Bombay. An MTech and a PhD from IIT, he has received excellence in teaching award twice. He recently caught a student cheating. The student committed suicide.
Dr Doolla has now been charged under the SC/ST Act.
A girl from IIT Bombay who was there during the incident has shared the whole story.🚨
Q: Were you and Sahil in the same course? And were you there when the professor caught him cheating?
Girl: Yes, we were in the same course. Around 1 PM, the Suryanarayana sir caught Sahil cheating. He didn’t shout at him. He said, “What are you doing? This is unfair to other students. Don’t panic. Everyone makes mistakes.”👏
Q: But many are saying Prof. Suryanarayana discriminated against students based on caste?
Girl: Never. Suryanarayana sir was one of the best prof. we had. He always taught us with jokes in between and never treated anyone differently. My grades in Power Electronics have improved a lot because of him.🥺💛
“Shireesh Kedare - I am resigning because there was some of my fault. But each one of you children who has ever done cheating should leave this IIT now. I will also ask the watchman to resign just because he couldn't check someone's pant for a mobile phone. All the parents around the world should also resign from their parental duties if they can't raise a studious child. That student feared them, not us. Your parents should be ashamed to send you to IITs when you are not even capable of passing a single exam of IIT.”
The professor is absolutely correct in what he says. Everything is turned into a Tamasha if one can’t cope. It takes the genuineness out of important issues.
This case is clear as crystal- if you cheat, face the heat.
