Success doesn’t happen by accident, it comes from who you surround yourself with, how hard you work, and the passion you bring every single day.

Real talks, hard talks, loud coaching, expectations, and learning from mistakes are all part of the process. You can’t be weak in this sport. Its HARD!! It’s important to understand that a coach who is strict, gets loud, pushes you, and holds you accountable is doing it because they care. They see something in you and they refuse to let you settle for less. Growth doesn’t come from comfort. It comes from being challenged, corrected, and pushed to a higher standard.

This spring looks a little different — and that’s a good thing. We have 95% of our 14 Gold players in high school right now doing great things and representing the program the right way. That’s what development is about. This current group is a true mix, most players I’ve never met or coached until now, along with some 12 Gold and 14 Futures athletes playing up to gain experience. And I love that. Growth happens when you step into something bigger than yourself. One of the best parts of this job is getting to be a small piece of so many young athletes’ journeys even if it’s just for a short time.
