Speed training made simple. Meet the SHREDmill, a self-powered speed training system used by pro athletes, yet designed for all. #GetFASTfast with #1FORCE2form.
Great to have @domgirard_ back at the home gym for a few weeks. Got in some good acceleration work on the @SHREDmillSpeed and a whole lot of #GameSpeed. Thanks @Tony_Villani_ for these amazing tools. Helped us get the most out of the short summer break. Put up some good improvements in a short time, before deload.
Some recent fly 20-10 PRs from the last 2 weeks!
Hammered acceleration to build the base, and now we are seeing some max velocity gains starting to come to fruition!
Horizontal power laying the foundation for higher subsequent top speeds⚡️
More to come regarding this matter!
@SHREDmillSpeed
Here’s the ratios of 5–>10yd & 30–>10yd linear sprints w/ our Football 🏈 players based on 40 splits. The Rust color means there is a deficit in either Acceleration (Left) or Top End Velocity (Right). If they are balanced (double Green)…Based on their needs, Accel: @SHREDmillSpeed G2 or TE Velo: G3 & TruForm!
@Tony_Villani_@SHREDmillSpeed Tony V can help the US Military with his product. He has believed in his product but more importantly his players. He cares!! He knows the definition of sacrifice. John 15:13
First day using @SHREDmillSpeed with large groups was yesterday.
The only thing I could think about is the amount of times & videos that I have seen @Tony_Villani_ demo it and keep talking to the group.
I do it once and am cooked. Tony does it and is perfectly fine😂
I guess I have to demo it a couple more times to get into that level of shape.
@CarterEpting came to me a few months ago because he was timed in February at 7.44 in the 60 with a Vald Smart Speed at the Shipyard. Was easy to see early on that was something we could impact quickly!
As his G3 @SHREDmillSpeed kept going up…we knew it was a good thing. Hit 7.0 in the pouring rain two weeks ago.
Last week 18.6 on G3 and at the East Coast Pro Tryout in front to 30 scouts he hit 6.89!! 6.6 around the corner!!⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️
Proud of you dude!!!
@SHREDmillSpeed Mechanical Interventions
Gear 2 vs Gear 3 Wall Drills
Figured I’d throw this video up there that shows how you can use wall drills, and “individualize” them to fit an athlete’s mechanics, as well as maybe use them to help attack a certain athlete’s individual weakness (ex: form deficient athletes utilizing more gear 3 wall drills between gear 3 reps if they are having a hard time hitting good positions).
@Tony_Villani_ can add way more knowledge/input on this, but I saw how we utilized these between sets of shredmill down at XPE, and have had a lot of success using it with my high school and college athletes up here in Chicago since!
Coach Micetich’s Full Conversation in now live on our YouTube (shredmillspeed). You can watch now to hear about fundraising, his favorite performance circuits, tips for future owners, managing large groups, and more!
Thank you @MinookaStrength !!
@camgalganoGPS@SHREDmillSpeed We did this yesterday afternoon with 2 groups, then took them outside to run 20-10 flys… 7 of 8 kids PR’d on G3 speeds @ Res 4 over their Res 3 speeds and all hit time to peak below 3.5, 6 of 8 PR’d then 20-10 fly
Update. The athlete 7 months from ACL surgery got his instructions. Get more powerful and sooner!!! We knew this bc in graph #1, his time to top speed was 2.9 secs (we want 1.6-2.5 secs). It made sense considering injury. Next session. He applied the coaching cue. #GetFASTfast
In Gear 2, we want time to top speed between 1.6 and 2.4 seconds. Here the athlete spends longer. Why? Athlete is coming off ACL and is 7 months. Not having immediate force production is normal is this case. This athlete now knows this and sees it!
Crazy that some SHREDmills have been around over a decade and still in use! That design has stayed pretty much the same. The tech and Mobile Ap are the only main changes.
@In_The_Game_ bought one of our very first @SHREDmillSpeed over 10 years ago!!! Actually introduced me to his client @MasonRSchreck when Mason was 13 years old and came and trained with XPE in Atlanta. Mason ended up being a Draft Client and HUGE success story. So cool to see.
