@Target I’ve been a red card holder since ‘17. In 2022 there was a charge I didn’t make, disputed w/ my bank and target, all was clear, card active, etc. now, 3 years later mid March ‘25 my card is shut off bc this old dispute has come back up bc of a “system update”

@Target @Target saying a system update “resurfaced” a dispute from 3 years ago suggests either: A clerical/system error, where something was misfiled or missed or an audit/reconciliation process, where they re-reviewed old disputed transactions.

@Target @Target So, the idea that a 2022 charge is now resurfacing in 2025 raises serious questions, especially since I already disputed it with both my bank and Target. My bank resolved the dispute in my favor, my Target redcard remained active and usable for years afterward.
