For generations, freedom came with a painful asterisk for many families in Bastar.

There were mothers who waited for sons who never returned. Children who learnt to recognise the sound of gunfire before they knew the meaning of peace. Roads were blown up. Schools stood deserted. Fear dictated life. And in dozens of villages, the Tricolour itself could not be unfurled freely. For decades, Maoist terror held these communities hostage.

𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞.

With PM Shri @narendramodi and HM Shri @AmitShah’s unwavering resolve to eliminate Naxalism, the fight against Left-Wing Extremism became decisive. Security forces pushed into areas once considered inaccessible. Development followed. Roads, schools, healthcare and connectivity reached communities long cut off from the national mainstream.

The change is visible in the numbers too: Naxal violence has fallen dramatically, and the number of severely affected districts has shrunk from 𝟏𝟐𝟔 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲.

And now, history is turning.

Imagine that. After 79 years of Independence, villages that had known fear for generations will finally watch the Tiranga rise freely in their own skies. This is not merely a flag being hoisted.

For decades, India had the talent but lacked the ecosystem and policy push to manufacture semiconductors at scale. Then the game changed. ⬇️

• 2007–13: Semiconductor plans stalled amid delays, red tape and failed proposals under the UPA.
• 2021: India Semiconductor Mission launched with a ₹76,000 crore commitment.
• 2025–26: Micron’s Gujarat facility began production, marking a major milestone for chip manufacturing in India.
• ₹1.66 lakh crore: Investment across 10 projects in six states.
• Semicon 2.0: ₹1.27 lakh crore to strengthen the wider ecosystem, from equipment and materials to chemicals, gases and chip design.
• By 2030: A $100 billion semiconductor market, with India aiming to meet 75% of its domestic chip demand through local production.

From missed opportunities to building an entire ecosystem from the ground up, India is determined not to miss the semiconductor revolution again.

Allegations of massive irregularities have rocked the KPSC Veterinary Officer recruitment for 400 posts.

After results were declared on July 17, over 50 candidates filed a police complaint, alleging irregularities, bribery and manipulation in the selection process. They have demanded that the recruitment be cancelled and conducted afresh.

An audio clip circulating in connection with the case reveals government jobs were being sold for ₹80 lakh through middlemen.

While Congress speaks of transparency, serious questions are being raised about recruitment under its own government in Karnataka.
