I say again: Sara Z. Duterte’s privileged speech during today’s budget hearing AND her refusal to take oath as a witness/resource person only reinforced her image as a failure and the most entitled politician in Philippine history. Any position she holds or goodwill granted to her by the Filipino people is entirely undeserved.

This should serve as a reminder to everyone: respect for the country’s institutions is crucial for all elected and appointed officials. Disregard of established norms of conduct not only reflects poorly on your character but should also disqualify you from holding future office.
