The constant news about another scam in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) exams is deeply concerning. When a major organization responsible for hiring state officials keeps facing allegations of cheating and paper leaks, the public completely loses trust. This is not just an administrative error; it is a direct attack on the idea that hard work and talent should be rewarded. The repeated cycle of corruption shows that the current system is failing the state's most dedicated and hardworking young people.

As a constitutional body, the KPSC is expected to operate with complete honesty and strict security. However, its ongoing failure to protect the exam process from cheating highlights serious weaknesses in how it is run. The lack of basic modern technology, poor data security, and careless management make it too easy for bad actors to manipulate the system. When the very institution meant to test candidates becomes suspicious, it puts the entire future of the state's administration at risk.

The blame does not fall on the KPSC alone; the government also shares responsibility for its lack of strong action. Fixing these deep-rooted issues requires more than just temporary investigations or suspending a few officials. It demands real changes to the law and how things are run. The government's hesitation to bring in strict anti-corruption rules or create a completely transparent system allows these cheating networks to survive. True good governance means having zero tolerance for recruitment fraud.

The biggest victims of these repeated failures are the lakhs of honest students who suffer massive emotional and financial stress. For many young people from middle-class and poorer backgrounds, passing these exams is their only hope for a better future and a stable career. Realizing that their years of studying, sacrificing, and hard work might be ruined by a rigged system leaves them feeling angry and hopeless. It is deeply unfair to maintain an environment where money or connections matter more than actual intelligence and effort.

To bring back trust in the public service hiring process, we need real, permanent changes rather than quick fixes. The KPSC needs a complete overhaul to match the strict, reliable standards of the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). This means using end-to-end digital security and reducing human involvement in handling exam papers. Furthermore, the government must quickly and severely punish anyone caught running these scams to set a strong example. Only through total transparency and strict accountability can the state protect the future of its youth.

ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ @INCKarnataka ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ನೀಡಿದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಅಂಕಿ-ಅಂಶಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿಯ 3 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಕೇವಲ 8,157! ಆದರೆ ನೀವೇ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ, 40,000 ಹು��್ದೆ ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹಸಿ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳುವುದು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿ ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ನೇರ ವಂಚನೆಯಲ್ಲವೇ?

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅತಿ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ತಾವೇ ಈ ರೀತಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನತೆಯ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ, ಮದ್ದೇ ಮುಳ್ಳಾದರೆ ಜನರ ಪಾಡೇನು? ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ��ುಳ್ಳಿನ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಯುವಜನರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ, ನೋವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕೈಮೀರುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಬಾಕಿ ಇರುವ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿ!

ಪದವಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಅನೇಕ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬರೆದರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಿಗದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನನೊಂದು ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜಗಳೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಲಿಂಗಣ್ಣನಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಯುವಕ ಅಂಜಿನಪ್ಪ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಸುದ್ದಿ ನನಗೆ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ನೋವು ತಂದಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 2,84,881 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳು ಖಾಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು ಕೂಡ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಕನಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಣ್ಣೀರು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ನೋವಿನ ಸಂಗತಿ.

ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಹತ್ತಿಕ್ಕುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ 24,300 ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ಭರ್ತಿಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಮಂಜೂರಾತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೈ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಲಿ ಇರುವ 2.8 ಲಕ್ಷ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹ ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಯುವಕರು ಧೃತಿಗೆಡದೆ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಯ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿ. ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಅಂಜಿನಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಭಗವಂತ ಶಾಂತಿ ಕರುಣಿಸಲಿ, ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಅಗಲಿಕೆಯ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ���ರಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕರುಣಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

There is a strong case for postponement of UPSC Prelims.

How will people in border areas manage? It is literally akin to putting their lives and national security under threat.

PM said it is a pause for Op Sindoor. Drone activity, black outs.

Postponing UPSC prelims isn’t an unreasonable ask. Students in border areas are hearing sirens every night, power is out for hours, and libraries are shut. One student mailed me that she can’t sleep, can’t study, just trying to stay calm. This isn’t a level playing field.

If civil services demand empathy, the exam should reflect it too. @DoPTGoI it’s not too late to do the right thing.

And to the students: I empathize deeply but all you can do is hope for the best and prepare with whatever you have. Unfortunately, this is what the times are.
