The first round of the NHL Playoffs might be the most underrated stretch on the entire sports calendar. Multiple games every day/night, all of them elimination stakes intensity from game one. Name a better two weeks in sports. I'm not sure you can.
Update from PPG Paints Arena:
There’s already been 2 fights in the crowd.
5 fan ejections.
And we’re 20 minutes away from puck drop.
This is Penguins-Flyers in the playoffs.
🚨BREAKING: Iran just dropped another AI LEGO video…
And somehow, it’s a more accurate summary of the U.S. government than anything coming out of the U.S. government.
You’re seeing these incredibly long airport security lines because Senate Republicans have blocked Democratic bills to fully fund TSA seven times in the last two weeks.
War, gas and groceries through the roof, stagnant wages, unattainable housing for younger people and families, fucking net zero job creation, 92k jobs lost last month. We have gained absolutely NOTHING from the deals guy, the “peace candidate”. You guys have truly fucked us.
Trump's Save Act forces 45 states to refuse driver's licenses, Real ID, student ID and military ID as valid voter ID.
Already-registered voters will be turned away from the polls if they don't obtain and bring a $165.00 U.S. passport or a $25.00 to $35.00 birth certificate copy.
It also forces all states to turn over your private voter information and voting records to Trump for selective purging.
It's not "Just ID."
TWEEPS: The SAVE Act requires passports and birth certificates just to vote. Those cost money. When politicians make you pay money to exercise a constitutional right, that’s a poll tax.

If you can fund war, you can fund healthcare.
If you can fund war, you can fund housing.
If you can fund war, you can feed the hungry.
The money exists.
Compassion just isn’t the priority.
What sad times we are in!
No congressional debate.
No vote.
But somehow there’s always money for war.
Yet every time you ask for:
Student loan relief.
Healthcare reform.
Housing relief.
Suddenly we’re “broke.”
Can we all agree on something? Can we make it a law that no individual convicted of any felony is able to hold a federally elected office? Nor serve in a cabinet position, Congress, or Judges. Can we at least do that?
