You won’t want to miss this launch!
Our friends at the Disability Screen Office (DSO) have been working on a new tool designed to make accessibility in the screen industry a whole lot easier. The Industry Resource Hub is a searchable online platform where you can find accessible venues, service providers, and tools to build more inclusive workflows.
Launching this December, the Hub is the first database of its kind created with the needs of disabled creatives and industry professionals in mind. Users can search by industry role, service type, disability category, region/province, language, and more. And the best part? It’s completely free to sign up!
Stay tuned to be among the first to try it.
We’re happy to share this initiative supported by the @CMF_FMC, @OntarioCreates, @RocketFund, @creativebcs, and PictureNL

The Online Streaming Act reflects a decade of work to level the playing field in Canada's broadcasting system, safeguard our Canadian identity, and secure a bright future for Canadian stories, creators and the many Canadians who work in this industry. Canadians want to see our stories on screen, and now more than ever, we must stand up for our cultural sovereignty.

Today, we remember the countless Indigenous lives lost and those changed forever as a result of the ongoing impacts of residential schools and the brutality of colonialism.
Like all Canadians, as non-Indigenous stakeholders in the screen sector, we have an important role to play in truth and reconciliation.
We encourage producers to review the @screen_office On-Screen Pathways and Protocols for working with Indigenous partners, communities and crew. More information is available here: https://t.co/CJIE2QUai0
And, if you have yet to take the Shine Network Institute’s P.A.C.T. course, we highly recommend doing so. You can learn more and take the pact here: https://t.co/tJ2yiXglQT
