- Amorim made these players train with high intensity.
- Carrick shortened training sessions and dropped the intensity.

- Amorim got rid of Rashford and Garnacho because of discipline. He showed players their place and tried to bring standards back.
- Carrick brought Rashford back and starts him EVERY SINGLE GAME despite everything that happened.

- Amorim raised the physicality and fitness levels of these players.
- Carrick didn’t even make them run in pre-season and these players are running less than literally EVERY opponent.

Michael Carrick has DESTROYED literally every bit of progress made over the last 2 years. I was a big advocate for him getting the permanent job, but man… WHAT A WASTE OF EVERYONE’S TIME.

The idea that Hufflepuff is the “leftover” Hogwarts house is completely wrong.

The misconception mostly comes from one line in the Sorting Hat song:

“Hufflepuff took the rest.”

But that doesn't mean Hufflepuff took the students nobody else wanted.

Look at what the other founders did.

Gryffindor wanted the brave.
Slytherin wanted the pure-blooded and ambitious.
Ravenclaw wanted the clever.

Helga Hufflepuff basically said:

“I'll teach them all.”

Not because those students weren't good enough for the other houses, but because she believed every child deserved to learn magic, regardless of what traits they showed at 11.

The other founders were judging children based on specific traits at an incredibly young age.

Hufflepuff was the one who saw potential in everyone.

And look at who came out of that house.

Cedric Diggory, the student Hogwarts organically chose to represent it in the Triwizard Tournament.

Nymphadora Tonks, an Auror and member of the Order of the Phoenix who died fighting Voldemort.

Newt Scamander, an incredibly compassionate person who did so much good for magical creatures.

These aren't “leftovers.”

These are people who didn't need to be the bravest, cleverest, or most ambitious person in the room to be extraordinary.

They just were.

And here's another thing people don't talk about enough:

When the Sorting Hat tells the students they can stay and fight or leave, Hufflepuff has the second-highest number of students who stay and fight.

So no, Hufflepuff wasn't the leftover house.

It was the house that chose to value people for who they were, not just what they could do.
