@branskan2021 I agree with your answer! You mentioned that you’re worried the executive branch will gain too much power. What do you think would happen if this did occur?
@CooperMyela If discrimination gets really bad in our country, it will divide us even more. With all the protests and arguments today in politics, it’ll also start a crazy controversy (and maybe even a war!).
@kleieran2021 Definitely! On social media it’s so easy to misinterpret what one is saying which causes many arguments and criticism. People are much more confrontational on social media since they can hide behind a screen. For this reason, many people feel unsafe sharing their thoughts.
@Johnstma I think people are inclined to follow the state law more then the federal law because the state laws are able to relate to them more and have much more influence over their people.
@branskan2021 I think we need to better prioritize immigration. Often times, I feel it’s a problem that is overlooked and set aside for later. But, some people need to get into the country right away which is why some travel here illegally.
@branskan2021 Although I don’t agree with your main opinion, I think you definitely bring up some great points! You mentioned that you think some cities should be allowed to be sanctuary cities. What cities should be considered? Would they be large cities or small?
@kleieran2021 I like how you mentioned that state governments should work with the federal government to establish immigration laws. I think often times, they feel they get overlooked. But, with more say, maybe they’ll feel as though they don’t need to become a sanctuary city.
I believe our state legislators should focus on making healthcare more affordable. Today, healthcare costs so much money and many families simply cannot afford it. Healthcare is very important and each citizen should have access to it. #TosaAPP
My favorite Wisconsin summertime activity is going to the many Wisconsin beaches to swim and hangout. Wisconsin has many beautiful lakes that comes with great beaches! I especially love Devil’s Lake and Mauthe Lake. #TosaAPPW3b1
@morrisjo2021 It’s interesting how you said that family members would want to see their ill loved ones at their best to have a good final memory. I never thought about that.
@branskan2021 I think it would be beneficial in schools to create more in-class discussion. I’ve noticed that this isn’t very common, instead usually the teacher just lectures. But, giving the students more of a chance to engage with one another would help a lot!
