Family-Managed Home Care program families in Ontario are sounding the alarm; they will no longer be able to hire family to help starting in June. Many are not ready to allow outsiders into their homes. The pandemic isn't over & med. fragile children are still at risk.

Hey @regionofpeel I think some #COVID19 clarification is needed here for families.... I’m fairly sure I would NOT be ok with isolating my 7 year old or 4 year old in a ‘separate bedroom’ alone (nor would my children be ok with being isolated without their mom or dad.)

The idea that families and #caregivers are receiving supports and resources during #COVID19 is utterly absurd. It’s simply NOT happening. Families are struggling to provide medical/behavioural care made increasingly complex by the burden of isolation and physical distancing.
