1 Billion (about) for Establishing New Settlements Through a Planning Bypass
The government is to approve the allocation of approximately NIS 1 billion for the establishment of new settlements without undergoing the standard planning process. Link in comments.

Breaking, dangerous and of utmost importance.
We have heard from a reliable source that there is indeed a US proposal to replace/annul Jordanian custodianship over Al Aqsa/Temple Mount, corroborating a May 25 report in Mideast Eye: https://t.co/ha29YSHmXH
We have been told that a document has been circulated proposing to replace Jordanian custodianship with that of a consortium of international/interfaith parties, including Muslim/Arab and Jewish representatives, and coming from Jared Kushner/Arieh Lightstone or those closely in their orbit.
We have also been informed that the proposal was circulated among regional stakeholders and has encountered fierce opposition.
4/4 In yesterday’s discussion Emek Shaveh’s Alon Arad was there to remind the committee that the Palestinians exist, that they have antiquity sites, a prolific cultural heritage and...lo and behold! They even have laws of their own.
BREAKING: Israel this morning launched the “Land Registry and Settlement of Rights” online system for the occupied State of Palestine.
In May 2025, Israel’s Security Cabinet resolved to initiate comprehensive land title settlement across the West Bank. The objective was plain: to complete the juridical and administrative annexation of occupied territory through the wholesale registration of land under Israeli authority.
Operationalized on 15 February 2026, the scheme transferred powers to the Israeli Ministry of Justice and the Survey of Israel, allocated ILS 244 million (USD 79 million), and set in motion the permanent acquisition and registration of approximately 58 per cent of Area C, some 35 per cent of the West Bank excluding East Jerusalem.
The system, codenamed “Grenade”, was launched this morning and openly endorsed by Ministers Smotrich and Strook as “a central pillar in applying sovereignty in the territory and strengthening our hold and roots in Judea and Samaria.”
The candor is striking. What was once advanced incrementally, is now pursued through digitized cadastral engineering. A land registry presented as bureaucratic modernization is, in substance, an instrument for the consolidation of unlawful territorial acquisition.
International law is neither ambiguous nor silent. An occupying Power is prohibited from annexing occupied territory, permanently appropriating public or private property outside the strict limits of military necessity, or altering the legal status of the territory under occupation. Yet this is precisely what is now occurring, in broad daylight, through administrative and technological means designed to render unlawful presence increasingly irreversible.
Despite two years of @EUCouncil sanctions, an overseas asset freeze, and a travel ban, @ElishaYered publishes today a map of settlement outposts erected by him and his “Hilltop Youth” co-consirpartors across the occupied State of Palestine.
If anyone believes, even for a moment, that such a project could be sustained without the active support, protection and facilitation of the State of Israel, its central government, settlement regional and local councils, and one of the most heavily deployed military apparatuses on earth, then I have a bridge to sell you.
Settler violence is persistently framed as the acts of “extremists” operating at the margins. The reality is less convenient: sustained territorial acquisition and the forced displacement of Palestinians under the protection of State power.
First Apartheid, Then Transfer -The 🇮🇱government “has a vision” for the WB. First, “to force the entire rural population into the cities, where they will live as displaced persons.” Collapse the economy, law & order. “When chaos peaks, expulsion"

BREAKING: The Interntional Criminal Court @IntlCrimCourt is reported to indict Itamar Ben Gvir @BenGvirItamar, Israel Katz @Israel_katz, and Bezalel Smotrich @bezalelsm.
The latter has, an hour ago, vowed violent retribution not only against the State of #Palestine@pmofa, but against the Palestinian people. At the core of his vengeance are the inhabitants of #KhanalAhmar, the Inn of the Good Samaritan.
The Palestinian village, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, recorded in the 1931 census of Palestine, today hosts Bedouin Jahalin, deported by Israel from the Negev in 1952. Following the establishment of the Israeli settlement Ma'ale Adumim in 1975, and the decades since, the villagers have withstood coercion and their unlawful transfer from the area designated for settlement expansion under the 'E-1' monocare.
Much of my humanitarian career has been spent providing support to communites at risk of forcible transfer, such as Khan al Ahmar. In 2018, the Israeli High Court of Justice declined to intervene, leaving the inhabitants to the mercy of Israeli State officials.
Smotrich is no good Samaritan, as charges in the International Criminal Court confirm, and he shows no mercy to Palestinian refugees seeking shelter, livelihood, and an education for their children.
What may follow is the war crime of wanton and extensive destruction of property, and the unlawful transfer of the people of Khan al Ahmar. Add to that offenses against the administration of justice for which Smotrich is to blame. Judges of the Israeli High Court are no less guilty, and international criminal law should not equivocate about their complicity in war crimes.

Today, Palestinians mark the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, the forced displacement of more than 750,000 Palestinians and the destruction of over 500 towns and villages in 1948 to establish the State of Israel. The Nakba is an ongoing reality.

Today, Israeli settlers stormed the Christian village of Taybeh in the West Bank again, establishing a new illegal outpost, harassing residents, and threatening to kill them if they return to their land.
This follows their takeover of a quarry in the village.
Christian residents are appealing to the international community, the Church, and Christian leaders to intervene and stop these attacks on the last entirely Christian village in the West Bank.
These settlers are funded and backed by the Israeli government — ministers openly praise them, and they receive protection from the Israeli army.
Residents warn this is part of a plan to ethnically cleanse the village of its Christian population.
