Relax, nobody is going to force Sunda to join Java. If Java Island were ever to become an independent country, there would most likely be either two or three separate states: either Java, Jakarta, and Sunda, or just Java and Sunda.
Jakarta would definitely refuse to join Sunda anyway. So realistically, Jakarta would either become an independent country or a special administrative region of Java, somewhat like Hong Kong’s relationship with China, especially since the majority of Jakarta’s population is Javanese.
And if Sunda ever tried to invade Jakarta, there’s no way Java would just sit back and let that happen. Java would definitely step in and support Jakarta.
@wiyokooo Maia Estianty: 100% Jawa.
Ahmad Dhani: 25% Sunda (kakek ayah), 25% Jawa (nenek ayah), 25% Jerman (kakek ibu), 25% Persia (nenek ibu).
Jadi: Al, El, Dul darahnya 62.5% Jawa, 12.5% Sunda, 12.5% Jerman, 12.5% Persia.
Wajar kalau pakai budaya Jawa & lebih merasa sebagai Jawa.

@dmssptr08 Indeed, Javanese people in Europe really should integrate themselves into the political arena there. Just like the Javanese in Suriname, New Caledonia, Singapore, and Malaysia. The blood of skilled politicians has been flowing in our veins since the era of our ancient kingdoms.
Following Geert Wilders, who has a Javanese great-grandmother from Surabaya, it looks like there will soon be another European politician of Javanese descent 🔥
@iPopBase What's even more unique is that, beside the gapura, the ruins of the palace complex's perimeter walls still remain. According to Ma Huan's records, their original height was about 10 meters.
@iPopBase It was later repurposed in 1328 as the entrance to the sacred structure built to commemorate the death of Jayanagara, the second Maharaja of Majapahit.
@iPopBase Moreover, we wouldn’t have had to worry about the other regions of the Nusantara. We could have focused solely on Java. And most importantly, Java wouldn’t have become the target of blame & scapegoat like it is now.
@iPopBase I blame the Mataram Sultanate. If they hadn’t been so busy fighting over power, Java would surely be a developed country today, since it had already begun taking steps forward as early as the 1700s instead of falling into colonial domination.
