@post_esther @squee151 @cupe4600 @Carleton_U In that case, it wouldn't be about CU "giving us" IP rights (because we already have them), but clarifying/reaffirming our statutory rights in the collective agreement (plus maybe any reasonable and acceptable license terms). Small language difference, but important implications.

@rejobson Well, the "oversight" theory never worked, at least not since this round of bargaining started in June 2022 - this was a clear and consistent demand from CUPE4600 from the beginning.
