Now that the results are out, I’d like to say it out loud again
1. Branch >>>>>> MD/DNB/Dip.
2. Decent college in home state/town >>>>> Good college far away state.
3. Take the best possible outcome of your rank and get the hell out of this rat race.

The toxicity in Medical colleges isn’t non solvable. It’s genuine fixable and just requires a little bit of iron hand and administrative will.
I did my MD and DM form same institute and same department and yet DM was much less toxic (no - not Becuase of hierarchy - other DMs in same department could be more)
A. Get nurses to work.
30-60% of useless running around is becuase behenjis don’t want to work.
Just needs a strict HOD to get them to work.
During MD - I was in Pediatrics. One ward had good nurses - other not so good.
But during DM , oncology had research staff and its own independent nurses and divisional head ensured they worked!
That itself reduced a lot of burden.
There are college where interns and JR still do Blood transfusion and what not.
B. Hire either 1 non acad JR per unit or if he is expensive- one phlebotomist.
Half the headache early morning is not examining or planning what to do for patients but mindless running akrund getting samples.
₹50k job - 6L per ward. (30 bed)
Total cost is sub 1 crore for an average govt hospital.
C. 24 hour work cal and post duty off. 2 mandatory Sunday offs.
This was what was in DM. Changed everything.
24 hour though tough are doable.
And post duty off is actually a good break.
The reason 36 hour is becuase we dot. Want one less JR or SR but frankly- it doesn’t matter if instead of 5 JR in morning there are 4. Work increases a bit but mental health is way better.
2 Sunday off were mandatory. Off is off. Don’t come.
Only the duty person + 1 more person used to come for half day.
Now - work increased for hay 1 half day person instead of everyone coming - but again - those two offs improved work life balance.
Work hours were limited to 60-70.
I’ll be honest - directly demanding 48 - might simply not be feasible.
60 is doable and be implemented actually very easily.
Years later I still firmly believe that “Dark” would be a mainstream, unanimous top 5 show if it was natively English. One of my favorite shows of all time and a must watch if you haven’t seen (don’t be a dubbed be a subbed)
If Dark was an anime, the finale would be remembered as one of the greatest of all time.
People don’t talk enough about why Dark actually works where most time-travel stories collapse.
• Time travel rules are clearly defined in Season 1 and never broken
• Every loop is causal, closed, and paid off — no hand-waving, no retcons
• Deaths are permanent, brutal, and often the cause of future tragedies
• Side characters aren’t filler — every bloodline matters to the endgame
• The finale resolves all three worlds, all paradoxes, and the origin point
• No sequel bait
Unlike Stranger Things, where post-season interviews are doing damage control, Dark lets the story speak for itself.🐐
