“Let me put it plainly, so everyone can understand: Today it’s Ukraine. Tomorrow, it could be any territory Russia claims as its own.
It should come as no surprise that Russian troops entered Ukraine waving flags emblazoned with the hammer and sickle.
This is Soviet imperial nostalgia.”

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, who is one of the most trusted and serious politicians in Europe, if not the world, just told the truth about Trump’s diesel “deal” with Putin. 🇺🇸⛽️🇷🇺
And he was brutally honest. Americans absolutely need to hear this.
My question is, do y’all really think Russia is going to send the diesel it needs to power its own army, while fighting an actual war, just to help a country they literally hate and consider it as an enemy for generations?
Get real, folks. It’s not happening.
🇫🇮 Finland calls on the EU to completely stop issuing tourist visas to Russians
Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo plans to put forward the proposal at next week's European Council meeting.
According to Orpo, European countries issued 800,000 tourist visas to Russians last year, while Finland issued none.
Orpo justified his proposal by citing the threat of Russian sabotage operations across Europe.
“If we fear that Russia is trying to carry out acts of sabotage in Europe, why on earth are we so naive as to let them in as tourists and allow them to move around freely?” the Finnish prime minister asked.
Finland stopped issuing tourist visas to Russians back in 2022 and has kept its land border with Russia closed since December 2023.
Now Helsinki wants to extend these visa restrictions across the entire European Union.
ZELENSKYY: At this very moment, when we are talking about peace, America gives Russia the opportunity to export diesel — that's millions, billions. It all goes toward the war against people, against Ukraine, against all of us.
I believe that our team is simply being used as a cover up, and this is definitely not fair, it is definitely not partnership-like, and in my view, it is a weak decision, unfortunately.
Weak decision by strong partners.
🇳🇴🇺🇸🇷🇺 Norwegian General Sverre Diesen, former Chief of Defence of Norway, has openly said what many European politicians prefer to remain silent about:
“Under the current administration, we cannot consider America our ally. Trump's United States is a hostile actor that, in the event of a conflict in Europe, is more likely to side with Russia than with us and other European countries.”
These are not the words of a Russian propagandist. This is the assessment of a former military chief of a NATO member state.
And if European generals are already openly warning that the United States could side with Russia in a war in Europe, one question remains:
How many more warnings do European leaders need before they finally start seriously preparing to defend themselves?
Ukraine — 2022. Europe — 2027…
Remember this tweet.
Trump doesn't want to hide anymore. He is Putin's business partner (a junior one!) and thus an accomplice in Russian crimes against humanity in Ukraine. And a reminder to members of Trump's administration, especially those who are planning to run for their boss's office in 2028—you will not be able to wash the blood of innocent Ukrainians from your hands. We see you and we will not forget, forgive, or let anyone else forget.
“‘Eric, I really wish you would stop papering all these things,’ Guilfoyle responded. ‘It’s really dangerous and not helpful to you or me while you could simply just call me on signal.’

President Zelenskyy’s comment on US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s remarks that the war in Ukraine is at a "strategic stalemate" and that there are now "no prospects for a negotiated settlement":
"You cannot negotiate future economic projects with Russians on the one hand and, on the other, claim that we are in some kind of diplomatic stalemate. We are not in a diplomatic stalemate.
Shut down Russia’s entire economy. Shut Russia's mouth. Stop feeding them through your sales. Impose sanctions on their weapons.
Open Starlink for Ukraine. You opened it when responding to Iran, after all. Everything worked there. Israel completely controlled the skies over Iran. So when you need it to work, it works.
It costs them nothing to help Ukraine. And I said quite frankly: help us protect our skies and gain dominance there.
Then Putin will sit down at the negotiating table. Why? Because he will lose everything. In two or three months, he will lose everything.
And instead, we are waiting for the Chinese to develop an equivalent and hand it over to Russians.
This is not a stalemate - this is called a lack of will."
Russian military intelligence tried to blow up a Ukrainian cargo plane in Germany. The drone hit the wing and failed to detonate.
A bus driver found it lying on the ground hours later. The Insider has now proved the GRU organised the attack. 1/
🇪🇺 EU lawmakers are calling for the closure of all “Russian Houses” across the European Union
A group of 71 Members of the European Parliament has urged EU leaders to shut down Russian cultural centers that are still operating in 15 member states.
The initiative's author, Lithuanian MEP Rasa Juknevičienė, argues that the Kremlin uses these so-called “Russian Houses” not only to promote Russian culture but also as tools of political influence and information operations.
Meanwhile, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian government agency running the network, is already under EU sanctions.
Although the decision to close such centers formally rests with national governments, the lawmakers are calling for a unified EU-wide mechanism.
The move comes after reports that the “Russian House” in Berlin was recently shut down.

Marco Rubio has announced that Europe may yet awaken from its long slumber and rekindle the fire lit here millennia ago. It is a remarkable thing to hear from the representative of a country that has just sailed past 40 trillion dollars in debt and now spends more on interest than on its own military.
One wonders what exactly we slept through. While dozing, Europeans somehow arranged to live several years longer than Americans, to see a doctor without remortgaging the house, and to take August off. Six of the seven happiest countries on earth are European, according to this year's World Happiness Report, and the United States is 23rd.
So thank you, Mr Secretary, for the wake-up call. If the generational shift you are hoping for means tariffs struck down in court, bond yields at their highest since 2007 and a government that insults its allies for sport, we would rather stay in bed.
Change my mind.
No forgiveness
On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas and other Palestinian groups cold-bloodedly murdered 1,200 people simply because they were Jewish.
Recognizing this pogrom as a terrorist act driven by genocidal intent is our first duty—any further debate must be based on this recognition.
🇰🇷‼️ South Korea shipped more than 176,000 tonnes of fuel, mostly diesel, to Russia in July and August, - The Guardian
7 tankers made 14 voyages to Russia’s far east, including three vessels sanctioned by the UK and EU.
Some ships declared destinations such as Japan or Singapore before sailing to Vladivostok, while one received fuel through a ship-to-ship transfer off South Korea.
In August, Russia imported 368,000 tonnes of oil products by sea — the highest monthly total since the full-scale invasion — with South Korea supplying 112,000 tonnes, or 31%.
And the Russian sympathiser Lee Jae Myung wants an apology..
An American president is talking about Los Angeles and San Diego being “taken out.”
Where the hell is Congress?
This is dangerous. The time to stand up is NOW.
