I met a shepherd. A simple country guy, 20-something years old. Had a little talk with him. I asked him how can he not to forget any of his sheep (and there were 500 of them). He said:
— I know them.
After a few more questions I realised he know every sheep from 500 by name!

Radar station Pamir on the top of mountain Tomnatik was a soviet secret military base. For now it’s totally opened to visit but it’s deep in the mountains on the Ukrainian border with Romania. I had to rent a 4x4 to get there. But it worth it.

Three years ago deep in the mountains I saw the sign of a monastery which is not marked of any maps. Last fall I turned back and had a walk. I found a very small hidden monastery with only 2 monks. Where bells were made from oxygen cylinders.

I tried to catch this perfect week before. One time I went there when in my home city a golden autumn was. But it was too late, the fall in mountains comes earlier and ends sooner.
Maybe this photo is the best I’ve taken ever.
