Let us continue to break the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage meaningful conversations, and build a community where no one feels alone in what they are going through. Because caring for mental health begins with recognizing that every story matters.

[UP Halcyon @uphalcyon]

May this day remind us to approach one another with empathy, listen without judgment, and create spaces where everyone feels safe to express themselves and seek support.

[UP Halcyon @uphalcyon]

Always remember to look beyond the windows, listen to every story, and make space for one another. 🩷🩵

“Every window is a different story that deserves to be seen and heard”

This World Mental Health Day, let us remember that behind every window is a different story, and every story is a person who deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.

To be an Iskolar ng Bayan is to take on the challenges of university life while carrying a genuine heart for public service and standing up for what’s right. Along the way, you’ll discover passions that inspire you and learn more about what you can contribute to the community.

Welcome, Batch Sidlak! Your name is now etched in the halls of UP Tacloban. May the light of this new beginning carry you through the years ahead.

Sidlak — the first light of day.

Meaning “sunrise,” it marks new beginnings. It will be part of your identity in UP Tacloban—one associated with the friendships you form, challenges you face and milestones you reach together.

[UP Halcyon @uphalcyon]

As UP Halcyon steps into its 23rd year, these new set of leaders are ready to lead the organization toward another year of growth, purpose, and shared experiences. Anchored by Friendship, Service, and Excellence, they bring with them the opportunity to shape what comes next.

[UP Halcyon @uphalcyon]

Leadership transcends merely holding a title, it is about showing up when it matters, making space for others, and turning ideas into action. The HY23 officers take on the challenge of serving not only the organization, but the community that gives it meaning.

[UP Halcyon @uphalcyon]

The experiences and insights you have gained will continue to inspire and bring positive change to those around you. May your passion for service, commitment to learning, and dedication to making a difference continue to make a lasting impact in the community.

May the memories you made at   IskoMerkado be the first of many you’ll cherish throughout your journey in UP Tacloban. Padayon, Iskolars.

[UP Halcyon @uphalcyon]

For many, IskoMerkado was more than an event. It became one of their first opportunities to meet fellow students, explore campus organizations, and become part of the UP Tacloban community. More than anything, it marked the beginning of their college journey.

[UP Halcyon @uphalcyon]

IskoMerkado 2026, you were a moment full of firsts freshies held onto! ✨
From exploring creative booths, enjoying good food, sharing laughs, and meeting new faces, freshies turned every corner of the MPB into memories of discovery and unforgettable firsts.
