@EstebanVallejo_ Thank you! Much better. When I emailed the prof to tell him I had COVID & ask for recordings, he responded by saying "that sucks!" and that he wouldn't be providing recordings. His response made me realize he and I probably wouldn't be a great fit, so I dropped the class 🙂
Why is it so difficult for people in BC to access the justice system?
TRU hears from legal contributors Andrew Pilliar, Andrew Ross, Didi Dufresne, Douglas King, Kim Hawkins, Odette Dempsey Caputo & Ryan Carter to answer the question. Watch here:

Watching my peers be forced to self-advocate for a safe learning environment and receive hollow assurances in response has been one of the most heartbreaking and frustrating elements of the pandemic to date - @UVSS please sign on! 📝
If you are a board member at a student union that is not on this list, you can still sign on. Please email our team at staffandofficers(at)bcstudents(dot)com. We can only make an impact when we are united. #bcpoli#bcstudents#BCed#OmicronVariant

Worth repeating: tonight on @GlobalBC i reported an alarming spike in #COVID19 deaths of unvaccinated young people in BC. An astounding 12 deaths of those in their 20s + 30s since Sept. 4th. A jump of 43% in hospitalizations among under 40 crowd. A near 10% increase in ICUs
The most over-hyped and overblown "non-story" of the day is that BC Premier @jjhorgan took some days off (although not really "off" given his daily briefings). And spare me the bull about "ohhh but the optics." Move on folks. #bcpoli
Rise is very proud to release the latest report in our series on improving the family justice system in BC. Big props to Zara Suleman, @HaleyHrymak and Kim Hawkins & very special thanks to @WAGE_FEGC 🇨🇦 for making this project possible.

The end of June is always sad as we say farewell to our wonderful #BCLeg Interns. The 2021 Internship Program cohort had quite an unusual year, but their contributions to the work of the Legislative Assembly have been deeply appreciated. All the best in your next chapter! #BCpoli
Pro tip for anyone starting a new career: always make friends with the interns! Thanks to all the participants of this year's @BCLegislature intern program! #bcpoli
