While my quiet mornings don't feel so long as Josh's, I can relate. Since getting married, and especially since kids, it's valuable to get up early to have focus time. https://t.co/v6BtZWmwfO @TheBabylonBee
In your mind's eye your toys can move on their own. It's super fun to actually see that. Here's what the kids and I were playing with this morning. :D

I don't often listen to lighter music like this, but "Oldies Station" by @twentyonepilots is an excellent song about getting older. "Your favorite song was on the oldies station" - those sometimes jarring reminders that one's life speeds forward. https://t.co/LdPQkPdDcn
Really digging the 808 album by @NinjaTracks, particularly the detuned organ in "Burn it Down" and warbled choirs in "Revolutions". https://t.co/yKf8Cly0ET
"And through all His wondrous childhood
He would honour and obey,
Love and watch the lowly maiden,
In whose gentle arms He lay:
Christian children all must be
Mild, obedient, good as He."
It's an unfair thought, but when I sing this verse of "Once in Royal David's City" I imagine the hymn writer desperately trying to finish the song in time for Christmas while the kids are running around the house, not listening, and getting into a row with each other:
I came across the band @LightTheWayCA this week and I'm seriously digging "Expel": https://t.co/f7xfzQjCm3 Thoughtful clever lyrics and super catchy tunes. I had the van speakers thumping during errands with the kids this morning.
