Hello OTD, hello everyone,

I would like to share my thoughts with you regarding an important discussion.

Yesterday, Path posted on the forum suggesting four ideas about the IP :

1. Assign it to Neiro Bropump
2. Assign it to Neiro ETH
3. Create a token by the OTD team
4. Do nothing

I wish to speak on behalf of Neiro Bropump because I am part of this community, and there are many points I would like to highlight.

1) Why us ?

Respect for the image of Kabosu and Atsuko: By choosing our community, you ensure total respect for their image. Why ? Look at us.
We are a community with a market cap of a few million, yet we are more active than a community with hundreds of millions. @Fantoumi put it very well :
“I also think Kabosu Mama would prefer to have a kindhearted community to back Neiro’s token; this is what I want too!”

2) The benefits to consider

Let’s talk about money: I imagine that OTD has received countless tempting offers from the other Neiro. But let’s ask the question : if you want money, wouldn’t it be more advantageous for you to buy Neiro Bropump before the IP announcement ? The answer is yes. You have everything to gain, and so do we.

That said, money is not our main concern. But it is important to address this point so that you understand our perspective. With money, you can buy almost anything, except our community. Never.
We may not have a lot of money, that’s true, but we have heart.

As @Fantoumi so eloquently expressed:

3) The votes

In the past, polls were held on Twitter to determine the best Neiro or answer similar questions. These polls were often rigged by bots deployed by Neiro CTO ETH. We also faced several waves of bots invading our Telegram, and we strongly suspect – though without absolute certainty – that they were responsible.

Regarding the upcoming votes to elect the Neiro IP, I don’t think a poll or public vote is a fair solution. Everything is easily manipulated these days.

This is why I propose that the decision be entrusted to Atsuko and Kabosu’s close associates, as well as the OTD team. They are best positioned to choose a winner. If we proceed with a public vote, it is clear that we will be at a disadvantage. That would not be fair.

If there are 2 Neiro projects on ETH, both on Bybit, both on OKX, both on https://t.co/ABPLqwtqnM, both on a few other exchanges.

Both have 70% of supply in top 10 wallets.

Is a T1 exchange really that BULLISH when considering in Neiro on ETH now? Or is it better to focus on DEX, organic and pushing like popcat, wif, bonk and many other Solana projects went to billions without CEX.

These projects are both on the same chain, there will be an ongoing LP drain between the two. No such thing on Solana.

I’ve been doing a lot of research on IP. I’ve taken a look at new launches, old launches getting IP and existing business launches. The community based tokens that come back around and garner recognition or IP seem to be performing the best. They’re sticking to community focus and the meme or movement.

Here’s the bullet points of a few pushes from different IP backers:

1) Is recognition.
2) Is starting from scratch.
3) Is business.

1) Community tokens like @SharkCatSolana @STONKS_SOL @BaseFloppa @MrMigglesOnBase @GIGACHAD_meme went for IP after via the community. These are performing better. They had or have strong communities. Most of these tokens seem to do better as the community is formed, memes are in place and they can take off. They get heavy shillers and or people that were already believers that got recognition. Charts followed accordingly on most.

This one seems correlated with a community take over. The community is always happy to gain recognition.

2) Then there’s the “provenance starts with the original owner” these are new launches. But I’m not seeing many actually form cult like communities or garner much “free cult labor”. There’s the obvious $DOG but that’s about the biggest stand out, probably because it comes from DOGE which has an extremely strong cult and movement. The charts don’t seem to follow the community run ones. Mission of belief gets intertwined with mission of business focus. The messaging is both IP must come from the original owner and IP gives us the value.

IP isn’t the whole value and so the new launches garner only a small subset of IP believers. It also seems to be alienating community focused people that believe in IP process number 1. Number 2 puts so much emphasis on the value of the IP only with the author’s permission and paints community run tokens as “grifters”, yet most of the time. The community did not have anything to do with the original launch.

3) Then there’s the business IP like Babyshark, @pudgypenguins etc these had such large pre established brands that they were going to work. They’re profit driven 100%.

No one cares about these. They come from a business. Bid accordingly. They’re bidding likely due to the weight of the business behind it and not the IP.

In relation to Neiro. I believe after all my research that if the owner isn’t a profit seeking business. Then number 1 is the best. If the community tries to do 2 or 3 and the original author isn’t a business like Atsuko Sato isn’t, apparently from everything I’ve read or heard. She’s not interested in profit. Then 2 or 3 on Neiro need to be handled extremely careful. As profit and IP can creep before mission. And then you destroy 1) Recognition. This massively hinders, belief and speculation. People become disinterested. Which is 99% of meme tokens.

Stick to the people, the movement, the mission, the passion, the community and the meme.

Stick to 1 on Neiro. It can make plushies, merch and partnerships. But the value is still the community and its movement.

@MrMigglesOnBase is an interesting case though. As it can stray into 3 and 1. As it’s the marketing token of @coinbase and @base it’s got a backing to be like a marketing and profit seeking venture that assists Coinbase push base, as it should. It was smart to put the IP into @purrlabs where the IP is outside the community of Miggles. What purrlabs does is separate from Miggles in a way. It’s a hybrid as the original IP owner was a for profit business.

What’s the belief of miggles? That the token is going to Coinbase exchange and that base and Coinbase are going to push it hard therefore the speculative belief is token up because if miggles is good for base, price up. Miggles was Number 1 though.

I haven’t listed the new IP launches. But more often than not they go up then down and community stays quiet.

Just my thoughts.
