well the analogy could have been better. just one social media app or just one ecommerce app, etc. eventually we become slaves to such players when there's no possibility of overturning authority. thats why everyone talks about the FED and that how they enforce their presence
Frauds will always be there. There are giant banks committing fraud every single day. Its just you are not at the end of it. No one is trying to replace current system. All we are rooting for is an "alternate" system not dictated by a centralized authority.
Those optimistic about how decentralised money is a viable future: I ask if they ever worked in the fraud team of a bank/payments provider/retailer.
You absolutely should to know what youโre up against. When money is involved, fraud spikes in ways hard to understand second-hand.
THE CELSIUS BLOWUP, EXPLAINED.
Huge sectors of crypto are imploding, and crypto unicorns might be coming down with it.
Luna was first, but now $10b giant Celsius is facing insolvency and even bankruptcy.
Let's dive in:
@chigrl this is really short sighted. you are essentially proposing to save boomers on pension now at the expense of potentially screwing up further generations
Just realized people with open borrows at low collateral ratios on Celsius are having to choose between getting liquidated due to market crash or depositing more collateral into a service that has frozen withdrawals and is potentially insolvent.
Woof.
