@JMTeakell @AshleyGWinter That is a fantastic question and I don't think we know yet. The problem is that the farther up you go in the urinary tract the fewer numbers of bacteria are detectable. And we reach the threshold of detection for sequencing technologies.

#EffedFactFriday: A recent study found that doctors gave the wrong antibiotics to nearly *half* of 670,450 women diagnosed with a UTI.

In addition, over 75% of those women received antibiotic prescriptions for longer than medically necessary.
