Hiya! Posting an update about my travel fund. I'm changing the direction of the funds towards a travel fund to Worlds instead. As of now I've raised $813 and I'm hoping to reach that final goal before the end of July.

Hiya! After some friends have recommended me to do this and gaging interest I've decided to go ahead and give it a try, I'm starting a stream donation goal to help fund a trip for me to be at NAIC!

[Joe Merrick @JoeMerrick]

Hi

I'm Joe. I'm severe asthmatic. I got infected by this early in March 2020 which caused my asthma control to collapse almost entirely. It is still not back to how it was and my sleep has been affected ever since.

Millions have perished

If you don't like these facts. Fuck off

[em @siLPH_Co]

This is a friendly reminder that Joe and many of our friends in the Pokémon community have underlying health issues that make them vulnerable. Please consider them and get vaccinated, wear a mask, and respect boundaries of those who are stricter about covid protocol!

[Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC]

Quick reminder that the US Congress is 73% male and that’s the lowest it’s ever been, in case you want 1 small contributing glimpse as to why Roe hasn’t been treated w/ the urgency it deserved for ~50 years. (And why our politics are so gross towards women & LGBT+ people overall)

[ellie! @elliectrode]

I just barely squeaked into top 8, and I got my TA for London. See everyone there!

Live now with my segment of the marathon supporting ACLU and ending forced pregnancies! Drawing all 151 Pokémon from MEMORY - come donate for a good cause and watch me butcher the Kanto Pokédex lol

["SimplyGabby" Snyder @GabbySnyder]

Morning - this is going to be a tough thread for me to write, but it's something that's been on my mind ever since this weekend. I'm in the right space to address it now.

If you are in favor of the recent overturn of Roe v. Wade, unfollow me. You are not welcome in this space.

[Aaron "Cybertron" Zheng @CybertronVGC]

I've been trying to collect my thoughts about this weekend's decision and I think @GabbySnyder puts it more articulately than I ever could.

People will say "I don't follow you for your politics," but this affects countless of women - our mothers, sisters, partners, & friends.

I don't get why people suddenly say Ash doesn't belong in the Pokémon games...

He has been canon to them since Gen 7, they just didn't show him in person!

[Jack Petocz @Jack_Petocz]

Remember when Don’t Say Gay was being passed, and Republicans tried so hard to frame it as a bill prohibiting sex-ed.

Well the law goes into effect in 2 days, and teachers are literally being ordered to scrape off rainbow safe-space stickers from their classroom doors.

[Jack Petocz @Jack_Petocz]

In the same district, teachers in queer relationships are being advised to remove any family portraits. Staff can’t even wear rainbow clothing.

We always knew what this was about, silencing LGBTQ+ people.
